    Hey Boys and Girls,

    Was away for a few days as I took a spill (note: was NOT drinking at the time :rolling_eyes:) and most likely did some damage to my recently operated upon right shoulder. Should know more later this week...the wife and I did not want to cancel our mini-trip to Charleston so.....Low Tide Kolsch at Fleet Landing! Cheers!

    A couple beers for the road. @SomethingClever and I are going to Hoof Hearted. His is gone already somehow. Good beer, but we both think it's overrated. I like Columbus Brewing's and Fat Head's significantly more

    Hey all; what an amazing time the last 16 hours have been!

    First, I pre-gamed at Armsby Abbey, which was delicious of course. Then, Gojira rocked my face off.

    But most importantly: a big part of my family came home today, after more than a year.

    Wicked Weed's Freak of Nature DIPA
    -after a 2.5 hour soccer session amidst 30+ mph winds and temps in the 40's
    This is has persistent hop bitterness and no hint of the 8.5% a.b.v., but the tropical nose and flavors are minimal in this bottle.

    I always love reading your write-ups in this thread. (I just had a 2015 Backwoods Bastard two nights ago, and I was amazed at how smooth it was; absolutely delicious!) The fact that I can always rely on some great metal tunes from your post, as well? Bonus.
