Based on my Untappd check-ins, Celebration usually hits shelves in Mass. this week. My all-time favorite beer and one that I make a point of purchasing as soon as it's out. So, starting a thread for New England people to post when they see it since I know I'm not alone in this beer being an annual tradition.

I love NE IPAs and all, but man I've had Celebration 6-9 months out and it does not fall off like many beers do. Nothing wrong with having this fresh though!

I think Ofest has sold well so Celebration should pass right thru distro to retail here. In the past it's been held up by lagging Fall seasonals.

I often see 6-packs before 12-packs for that reason.

Thinking I'm getting a half barrel this year. I usually end up getting 2 sixtels. Love this beer!

Thanks for starting this @EnronCFO. Love this beer, not my favorite IPA ever, but it's a must purchase every fall.

On a semi-related note, I had a draft of Bigfoot at Row 34 in Portsmouth, and then this past Sunday I saw a four pack at my local liquor store.

Was this released early for some reason?

The Celebration release threads are the BA equivalent of a reunion tour. Old guys remembering the good times and the younger guys wondering why we're excited for a shelf beer that isn't cloudy or canned yesterday.

Celebration is a favorite of mine, and one that I had when home from college during the holidays. Definitely picking up a sixer once Halloween has passed.

Also just saw that CBC Fenway got a shipment in today if anyone is itching for it.

Celebration has hit at my local Demoulas'. $12 for a 12 pack I believe.

Called my two local places (Martignetti's in Brighton and Marty's in Newton) last night and neither had it. Lame.

Pretty much the only thing I miss about living in NH is the dirt cheap beer.

Most likely selling all of the octoberfest first. The distro warehouse is not going to ship it if there still is the October hanging around.

I ordederd my first keg of it for the season. I haven't seen any bottles on shelves yet here in CT. I usually finish up whatever pumpkin beers I have left by Halloween and make sure I have some fresh celebration to enjoy November 1st. I've seen check-ins on untapped and it looks promising!!

Do they ever do variants of this beer? I would love to try a mosaic or nelson version.

No, they seem to be quite proud of using the same recipe since 1981, which is pretty amazing if you think about it.
