There is just a slight difference between a Friday afternoon and a Saturday afternoon in Colorado. Maybe not out in La-la Land.

Do any of their beers make it to Fort Collins?

Their website says they occasionally make it to Wilbur's or Craft Beer Cellar, but it seems like most of the excess that makes it to the front range ends up in a few Denver stores.

You're gonna have a blast, the weather is supposed to be great and the beer menu is insane. Be aware, you won't be able to double-down on Leaner for those two sessions though - "2 bottles of Leaner per person per day."

Eric is always a blast to chat with, as are John and Jak (which rounds out the entire staff haha). Did you get to try Eric's Blend #5? It was a standout for me the last time I was up and that's saying something with the ridiculous lineup right now.

yes! we had it in house and it was AMAZING. my buddy didnt like it at all but i was a huge fan.

john was also really cool, great dude! we tipped him big. Didnt get to meet Jak or Troy (which i was kinda sad about, really wanted to meet troy!!

all in all it was a great time. stayed at the GS cedar lodge (actually not bad at all for the price) and it was great being so centralized. casey is in such a gorgeous place, really happy to see it. I considered it one of my beer "meccas" next to degarde, allagash and jester king. Now that ive knocked that one off the list, next stop brussels

I have been to Casey around 20 times or so and every single trip reminds me of how much I love Glenwood, it's just beautiful. If you ever go back, I would HIGHLY recommend skipping the Lodge or any other hotel and finding an Airbnb on the other side of the Roaring Fork; you'll save money, have more room, and the views are insane.

Anyone try the DH peach CFP yet? How's it compare to leaner and red haven peach cut?

Had all three yesterday for a little Peachapalooza share we put together. My ranking would be DH Peach CFP > Leaner > Red Haven Peach Cut, but all are world-class, phenomenal beers.

Interesting, I actually prefer Red Haven to leaner, so I'm really curious to try DH Peach CFP

Hey, I am headed to Casey in December and wanted to know if 3 hours is about the time it will take from Denver when I'm there. Or is it a longer drive because of snow and weather conditions?

It all depends on weather and ski traffic. If you're headed to the mountains anytime on a Friday or on Saturday morning, you will most likely hit significant traffic. And if you're headed east from the mountains anytime on a Sunday, you'll hit significant traffic.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Not that I wont be buying all of the other beers there. Boy do I love Casey brews.

Just downloaded this app. Thanks for that, super informative. Plus it will give me something to do while waiting in the airport.
