Same problem with me, I don't get any of the announcements. I've sent them emails but they haven't been very helpful.

Sorry guys, I know this isn't "computerilliterateadvocate.com" but have any gmail users found a way to keep the emails from going to spam since they switched to the new website? I manually move it everytime and tell it to do that with all messages but it doesn't stick...

open the email while its in the spam folder and at the top should be a button called "not spam"... in theory, this will flag the sender as good... hth

By no means do I need another 12 bottles. Yet I am compelled to buy more.

How long before Black Tuesday sees limited distribution? I mean, no one needs that much Black Tuesday, what does 1 do with 18+ bottles of Black Tuesday? I love me some Black Tuesday but 4 bottles will last me a couple years. I guess if I was hosting an event and I wanted to serve it there maybe, but that is about it.

I figure there will come a day I leave Reserve Society, and BT ages really well, so may as well stock up.

There's something to be said for making a beer exclusive and limited. At the growth rate they're currently rocking, this once highly sought after beer risks being only a few years away from becoming a shelf turd. It's just human nature to want what you can't get. While I applaud their desire to grow and make more money, if they're not careful they're going to wind up like Stone or Firestone Walker and discover that demand only goes so far. Part of the demand for their beers is that they're hard to get. What happens to that demand if the beers become readily available? There are lots of great beers that nobody buys anymore. There are lots of great beers period. How do you compete for your share of such a competitive market? Bruery has done so historically based on exclusivity and its societies. It will be interesting to see what happens as they continue to grow bigger and their beers become ever more widely available.

For BT this year I only took on my 2 bottles that came with my membership. I still have at least a case from the last 3 years that adding anymore just wasn't going to happen this year especially when it's coming in at 20.3%.

I wish they'd take it and do more variants with 1 bottle limits. As basically all the beers starting in 2017 will be available to the public it would be cool if the societies had access to more experimental beers that didn't filter out.

This is the opportunity I use to expose others to really great beer. Do I need another 6 bottles? No, but I have some friends that probably have never tried BT, and I'll offer to get them one if they want it.

The world is a better place with good beer in it. If I can help expose others to BT, then I have done good.

I wish they would use up more for variants in small batches as well.

I want to see an Irish Cream variant... Basically a melange of Grey Monday and Mocha Wednesday.
