Has anyone in the area checked this place out? I've been there a few times now and have been pretty impressed with their beers. In particular the Animorphus Changling batch IPA series. One thing, the bar service definitely needs some work. I'll chalk it up as being new and they're still working out the kinks but I get the impression the bartenders there have never bartended before. Definitely a brewery to keep an eye on.
We went the first weekend they were open and were very impressed. We're about 45 minutes away and I'm pretty happy about it. Have to get back soon. They weren't doing growlers/crowlers when we were down, but have since started filling them. Really excited about them going forward.
I usually try and shoot down from my office on Fridays for a liquid lunch, big fan so far, Dole and the Animorphus series is legit.
A definite must-stop if you are unfortunately in York. The beer quality is very good, but I find the selection to be even better. Dude was out of the gate with 24 beers of his own on tap. Has been a little lacking on the dark beer end of the spectrum, but I'm guessing that could change. The physical space is nice, although noisy when busy. The location is just into an alley in York, but has its own parking lot. Trust your GPS when it has you turning into an unmarked side alley. Opens at 4 SU-TH, opens at noon other days. Food occasionally from markethouse, some times from food trucks, always ok for you to order or bring your own
I like downtown York. Lots of good beer/food options. Plus the Revolution stadium, which is 100x better than going to an MLB game.
Yeah, well, no baseball until April. But agreed about Revs stadium. Will agree to disagree about York in general.
I went when visiting some friends in the area (about 25 minutes away) beers were solid, especially the animorphous changling. The Dubbel was pretty good as well. As for downtown York Holy hound tap house is pretty awesome with a great and fairly large tap selection with a bottle shop next door.
