Beyond excited to hear that cans are coming soon. Really hope they are priced reasonably.

Well, they'll certainly be better than Grimm.

To some including me, quality as well. Call me crazy but I would take Mo Shuggie over any Grimm.

I understand why people love Grimm, but for me, Billy Full Stack and Mo Shuggie all day, every day over Grimm (expect Afterimage, thats a tie).

I think the market has been set for can prices locally. Even though Singlecut bottles are expensive, their cans are going to have to be in the range of the other local brewers who are selling cans from the brewery direct for them to compete.

I was going to make a comment on this.

right now the market is between $17 and $22 for 4-packs. sadly that is more than likely where theirs will be as well. while it is lower than their bottles per ounce, it won't be lower than the rest of the market.

    gotta pay to play.

I think asides from softly spoken whom has had the biggest issues in, inconsistency. The major difference between Singlecut and the rest of the cans out (LIC aside) is that you know the style and exactly what to expect from Singlecut. I agree with some notions, bon, 200 watt, full stack softly(when good) are all hemps away in the flavor softness and drinkablity components that I look in IPAs compared to most of NYC

If Singlecut does can their beers, I would welcome a price of $17-$22 for a 4 pack(assuming 16oz cans). Much better price than the current price of $7.99 for a 16.9oz bottle.

For SC lovers, especially Full Stack lovers, get your hands on some Lagunitas Born Yesterday, really good stuff and as someone mentioned in another thread if they didnt know any better they would think it is SC.

First batch of softly spoken was amazing, second was terrible. However, I will say the bottle I had the second time around was sitting on a shelf in the summer while it was 90 degrees for a week straight, with no AC in the store. It was only two weeks old, but a pure malt bomb. Thinking the colder weather now should help us here in NY

I agree, but wishful thinking on next batch. I had batch 2 and 3 on draft at the source and they were nowhere as good as batch 1. I love SC, but will not return to this beer.

Yeah after all the other batches my notion is that beer is far away from being what it was batch one, frankly I don't really bother with it anymore

Hmm interesting that it wasn't as good at the source either. Disappointing.

the new double is alright, it wasn't very hoppy in my opinion but it was definitely interesting and fruity on the backend. I liked pretty much all of their other IPAs better.

that being said, this recent batch of Mo Shuggie is killer, nelson juice for days!! same with this batch of SSMS! not like the first ever batch, but seems like they dialed it back in.

BUT, i was very disappointed in this most recent batch of Bon Bon (still picked up a case for my brother and boss though). the one I had about 3 weeks ago (the small batch they released) was some of the best DIPA I've ever had. it was murky, golden, smelled like the tropics, and tasted like juice. the Bon Bon I had last night was completely clear and brown, smelled very muted, and tasted very malty.

I haven't seen this mentioned on any of their social media. Anyone know if this is still happening today? Loved Fuzzbox and I'd like to give this a try on my way home tonight.
