Yes I liked the can better. Still very good on draft but you don't have a chance to agitate the beer like you do in a can.

I had it on draft out in the burbs on Friday, so I make cans winning 3-0. One more win for the series sweep.

Not a significant difference, but it was just better from the can.

Agreed. Still delicious on draft, but there IS a slight difference.

Heading up from Central Illinois on Friday. Any good places to try to get it (if there's any left)?

I'd bet it will still be on draft at Village Tap.

Depends where you are - Lloyds downtown had it, I had it at Standard Market in Westmont, and Village Tap in Roscoe Village had it. Not sure on if any of those places still have it. Look back through this thread, I may have missed some

(this is all draft, to be clear)

It is still showing as on draft at Binny's Lincoln Park tasting room. I would call beforehand and confirm it is still available. They open at noon.

Your best bet is to call the aforementioned places, as Friday is still two days away. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if it pops up at another place or two between now and then.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate it. Figure this is a good thread to keep an eye on for the next couple days as well.

Galaxy Bowl is no longer showing on Binny's LP taproom list, FYI

I see that Hop Butcher posted that they are brewing another batch of Galaxy Bowl. Cue the "it's not as good as last batch" comments.

Has the last batch been fully distributed yet?

The wort is much less juicy.

It isn't. It's really a business lunch and after work type of spot, and frankly not even one of the bigger hotspots for that sort of thing on Wacker. They only have 2 or 3 taps. They do have a pretty decent, but small, inventory of canned/bottled stuff, including usually some FFF.

The same day I stopped by and had GB, they also had Zombie Dust, which I found pretty surprising. Maybe they have a beer buyer there that is trying to step up their game.

I had thought all the cans had (although I think they posted that they were going to have some cans at the opening of something this weekend), but had sensed kegs were still popping up.

Either way, I think it's a good move for them to capitalize on making it again if possible. They've got me intrigued to try their next offering (Hoppy Days Are Here Again).

I should've put a snark emoji on my post, and I agree.

Haha...snarky, yet somewhat true! Hopefully they get the distribution thing figured out a bit more efficiently with the next batch.

Yeah, the fact that I lacked the distribution information necessary to run out and buy it within minutes of it hitting the shelves was quite frustrating.
