    I'm creating this thread following the trend of "Visiting X Location" threads branching off the "Visiting Seattle" thread. Below are lists of breweries and brewpubs and other recommended beer-centric places. Anyone is welcome to add information, as these lists will try to be comprehensive, but things always slip through the cracks. If you think a brewery should be in a higher or lower category, let me know.

    I would have included Sound in the must stop breweries. Few of their beers are so-so, but their Belgians are still top notch.

    Couple restaurants to add as well. The Harbour Public House in Bainbridge and Toro Lounge in Bremerton.

    Just need people to add any suggestions and that will make your next update more complete.
    That's all I have for now. Having not lived over on Kitsap for several years now I'm out of the loop on anything new.

    I generally don't take a whole lot from these "best of" polls/lists, but I have to admit I was pretty amused to see Asheville listed at number 7 on this list (under the small metro area beer destination list). And after looking at the metro areas listed above it, I couldn't disagree with any of those other destination choices.

    Butbutbut, they vote themselves Beer Town USA every year! You mean to imply that a combination of more objective data isn't as favorable to Asheville as a ballot-stuffing contest?
