Anyone who made it to the party and is still alive...

What are the details of that Black Tuesday tin tacker they had for sale?

Did it sell out? How much was it? Any chance of it going up for sale online? I gotta get one for a friend.

Went to session 1- my favorites were the Peach Cobbler, the Elvis and the PB & Thursday (the pb in this one was more subtle than in the Elvis and was way toned down as compared to the PB version they did at the anniversary party years back - it's a great addition to the days of the week variants). The '16 BT was tasting great and I enjoyed the hoppy options, especially the Juicy Tuesdays. Plenty of good food and the lines moved really quickly. Another quality Bruery event.

Alright, that was quite a bit of reading...

I had a 2010 Black Tuesday about a year and a half ago and that thing was simply incredible, aged beautifully.

About the extra Black Tuesday: who cares it if it his limited distro. Big Bad Baptist is a regular distro beer and it's delicious. Just because a beer is exclusive doesn't mean it's going to taste better, although I know people will argue this.

About Black Tuesday with Adjuncts: If they're making extra Black Tuesday now they should really take advantage of the extra and do some fun releases.

No on both counts. $23.99 for a 20%, 750mL bottle of World class beer isn't what I'd call expensive, certainly not for someone who loves single malt Scotch. I wouldn't ever get to a point where I'm drinking it daily, but if you have 20-30 bottles, why not open one a month?

Yeah I made it out alive from the first session (May need a few days for my liver though ha). DAMN there was some GOOD pours going on! First one I've been to, and am looking forward to the next events. They really have been doing a great job on these.

Got to the party, and walked by the merch area and the tin sign was clearly popular, so I picked one up ($40). They sold out of them for the first session right after, and from what I understand the 2nd session sold out as well. Not sure if they are meant to be exclusive to the party or will see another run make it for sale offhand.

Mine has a place of pride on my wall to remind me of better things when at work.

I went to the first session and had a blast. Of all the variants I really enjoyed the BT reserve, Madeira BT, 2011 - 2013 BT, 2011 CR, Nanner Tersday, and Peach Cobbler BT. The food and coffee were also great and the jazz band was a nice addition to the party.

BA Share this Mole would make me a very happy hoarder. Just don't get cute and go for Mezcal or something strange. Stick to BBA, maybe Rum or Rye.

Black Tuesday is all sold out as of yesterday. I think distribution is pretty far off.

Question for anyone who might know, or @BruerJoel, with the new site anyone who buys something must always rename the trustee, so if I let someone buy beers on my account, or say it's a shared account, does the trustee now have to pick up for each buyer? The old system copied me on any purchase regardless of buyer, now it only emails the buyer, like there's an additional 'customer' now. I ask because my trustee got a partial part of the total order this week, but it was only bottles in my name. There wasn't anything else available. Also it was an incredibly awesome thing to mark picked up on any open invoices, I know we asked for it already but it really is difficult for anyone out of State to verify what is picked up.or isn't. A longer timeframe on orders would also be nice, sometimes trustees wait a few months between pickups, by then stuff had fallen off the recent orders.

Finally tried 2016 hottenroth. Wtf happened to this beer? It had a way better flavor pre-terreux.

I haven't seen this mentioned yet so I'll throw it out there -- for all of the complaints about the new store, it sure is nice to see 41 beers available to order if I want more. It wasn't that long ago that you'd only see a handful of beers, and they were the same non-society stuff that was on shelves out here. Lots of good bottles still up.

If I had more money (or an extra liver) I'd be ordering more every week.

Any hope to having order history improved? I know its been a while since it was mentioned about trying to fix.
