Posting under protest. @jonbonfondle rules with an iron fist .

    Day 1 ipa 2fer.

Juicy ipa, I got lots of pineapple, like a super juicy fresh pineapple cube. good malt base and nice crisp bitter finish. Definitely a good one.

    Beer 2.

Different aroma. I guessed brewed with honey. some citrus on the nose. Booziness present. less bitter and less juicy. Good nonetheless.

    Day 2.

Very well balanced. Great color. Tart aroma. Bready malt flavor with some tartness. Not overly acidic but a nice bite. Some fruit on the end. Peaches or apricots. I'd guess wicked weed, but not one I've had before. Super clean. Very tasty.

Edit: the grapes come out a lot when warming. like a dry white wine flavor with some juicy tart punch. Really enjoying this one.

I think this is the trick. Based on day 1 I'm going to say that this was also an extra that was sent. Trillium for sure.

Day 2 Bottle (complete with new, PC photographs) from @jschott75

Blind pour. Black wax cap gives no indication of brewery.
Imp. Stout with flavors of licorice, chocolate, vanilla and it's definitely Barrel Aged. Can't quite tell the Barrel. I'm thinking a bourbon/port or cognac/port blend.

Pairs really well with the dark chocolate and the cranberries in the chocolate add nicely.

Can't tell what it might be. Can't think of anything from Illinois that fits the bill.

    And the reveal .....

2014 Deschutes Abyss! Definitely a want, thanks Jim!

Sorry to be tardy to the party! Got home from the worst soccer performance I've had in quite some time and really needed a pick me up.

Thanks again to @HeartofMiami. Day 2, without further adieu....

I've never had this one before, and dammit if it doesn't taste EXACTLY like French toast. Raisinets are a surprisingly nice pairing, too!

Changing it up and starting with the Treat today. Looks and smells like a Trillium beer, less haze and more golden in color. Sweet and somewhat spicy fruitiness, probably a double so I'll go with Vicinity.

Not sure what the trick is, nice Trillium beer and very familiar. I believe this is their DDH Sleeper Street that I had recently, got that lemon/lime El Dorado taste.

Enjoy! Though you'd enjoy the beer and glad to hear the candy pairing worked out! I know beer and I know candy but have no idea how to pair them together

Talking about this with some Locals, and we can't think of an adjunct beer that FB has ever done poorly. Ever. This one is new to me, I've had several others, and all were completely on point.

Amazing combo of chocolate, orange, barrel, and the old ultra-violence

That chocolate-beer pairing was the best food/beer pairing I've had. Thank you!!!

Day Two for me involved beer and a feast:

    OK will do:
I tasted brett, funky, earthy flavors in the beer. This pairs pretty good with the pizza.

    Reveal:

Thanks @Greeny87 ! The most fun VBS for me so far! Plus I really like this beer, yum!

Late posting this, but definitely enjoyed day 2. Couldn't figure out what I was drinking, knew it was new glarus R&D, tasted barnyard and a bit of barrel maybe? Craft-girlfriend tasted malts and dry-hopped.

    And the reveal:
2015 golden ale, very cool, not a style I drink often but definitely enjoyed!

Bottle looked familiar but it can't be a Huna. Can it?

It sure is! Can't thank you enough @Elneenee ! Had a small pour of this in December but really enjoyed drinking all of this. Those chocolate ice cubes went very well with it. Ready for day 4 later!

Day 2 brews - Almanac sours! Colorful and tasty.

Lemon heads ended up really highlighting all the non-sour, non-fruit notes in the beer. Funk shining through -

Slow to the upload, but here we go!

Started 2 Day 2 literally right after walking out of work. On the suggestion of @JoeyIce3 I decided to drink the day 6 beer that had a slight leak, sooner than later (was told to save the candy).

Again, tried blind just for fun. Obviously a stout, poured extremely thick. I was getting tons of chocolate with a decent amount of vanilla. Fully unwrapped:

Nailed the flavors, just had no clue on the brew. This was stupid delicious and I could drink it all day. New beer tick, new brewery tick.

On to the official Day 2 beers, I was given the task of 2.

Day 2a Poured fairly thin, was getting some sweet vanilla and some caramel flavors. Cap gave away that it was from Lakewood. Just a shot in the dark, but I guessed Temptress:

Nailed it! The sweetness of this milk stout pair well with the extremely sweet pecan log.

Day 2b was another Lakewood, seemed thinner. Picked up on slight barrel flavor, very sweet as well. As it warmed and enjoying with the pecan log, I was getting some coffee and chocolate as well. Since they were to be had the same day, my best guess would be a Temptress variant, just not sure which one.

French Quarter Temptress. I'm used to drinking thicker milk stouts, so the fact that these were thinner threw me for a bit of a loop. @JoeyIce3 hit it hard on day 2, thanks again man.
