There was a promotion in Quincy Market while we were a couple bars deep into a pub crawl when they were giving out Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, there were a bunch of us and everybody got one, nobody liked them I must have downed 8 of them.

Next morning was ralph city. Any beer with even notes of cherry tastes like Robatussin and Draino to me to this day,

Blue Hills Ipa. I joined BA to warn people how awful this beer is but I never gave my review out of respect but this is the worst of the worst in my opinion. I would only give this beer to anyone you don't like and have a secret laugh behind their back. It's so terrible.

I have a friend who likes tuti-fruity beer and I am an IPA guy. When we go out, we have the "beer challenge" ... we pick each other's beer. I was going to go easy on him (he hates hoppy beer), but he plopped down a Hala Kahiki Pineapple beer (Rivertowne Pourhouse). It was the most heinous thing I have ever tasted. Still trying to get that vile poisonous memory out of my mouth.

To get even, I bought him a Shipwreck Double IPA, which I told him to drink slowly. He chugged it to get rid of it (after having a few of his other bad choices). A few minutes later I see him with.... a bottle of Delerium Tremens. He was totally $hitfaced by the end of the night!

The most awful crappy weak pilsner style beer I have ever had was Blatz. The name is like the sounds you make the next day!

I was never a fan of Rogue's cutesy novelty flavors in general.

I also must add to this post Guinness Nitro Ipa. Why really why did a respectable brewery like Guinness would brew an awful tasting beer. I tell everyone I know not to even try this beer. Guinness by itself is a great beer. Guinness nitro ipa is a failure

I love belgian beers. Its 90% of what i drink are strong pales Amd saison. But the only dark belgian ive enjoyed is Ommegang grains of truth. I get a tobacco flavor from most of them but im coming around.

J.W. Lees Harvest Ale (Lagavulin Whisky Cask). I later found out that Lagavulin Whisky is very peaty, and I apparently don't like that flavor. My review from 5 years ago:

"2007 bottle. $9.99 from Holiday Wine Cellar. Poured into a small snifter.

A: Pours a hazy gold with no head. Leaves no lacing. Lots of particulate.

S: The first impression that hits me in the nose is barnyard. Not a plant barnyard (like hay, alfalfa, etc.), but a meat barnyard (pigs, cows, goats). And then a distinct BBQ sauce aroma hits me.

T: The BBQ sauce aroma is the most prevalent part of the taste. Sweet, mesquite, salt, meaty. Beer should not be meaty. I used to think a bacon flavor in beer sounded interesting. I no longer think that. They mixed up the labels. It's not a beer, but a BBQ sauce.

M: Thick, viscous, smooth. No carbonation left. Leaves an aftertaste of eating too many lays potato chips. Plastic, salt, oily, olestra. /shudder

D: Not drinkable at all. I want to drain pour it, but this has such a weird taste that I keep taking one more sip.

I'll try a more recent brew if I come across it, but will not want to try the 2007 vintage again. Unfortunately I have another one in my (currently) 5 bottle cellar (deep drawer in a cool part of the house)."

    Not likely

The IPAborg has been trying for well over a decade and they just get worse, buddy insisted I try a Lone Pint Yellow Rose just last week, down the drain it went.

Peaty is very much an acquired taste.

Black, Mikkeller ApS - Too much smoke, char, and alcohol to be enjoyable.
2015 BCBCS - Very sad having to drain pour this after I traded a lot for it on release.
Birthday Beer, Shriner - Worst tasting stout I've had before.
Chocolate Bunny, Minhas - Dirt cheap and yet somehow not worth the price.

Agreed. They brewed it with Brett...but didn't bottle condition it with Brett. I bought 2 because the price was so cheap, drank a few sips of the first one and decided the beer was so awful that both got poured.

Watermelon Dorado too. I like watermelon jolly ranchers, just not in my beer.
