If I have to pick just one, general brewery (as opposed to niche ones), I'd have to go with Fremont.

If asked to pick my favorite top 10 breweries, I could probably come up with something. Asking me to pick a single choice for best brewery is simply not possible.

I asked for nominations. I purposely didn't put a number on it. Do with that as you will.

In that case, I nominate Block 15, Breakside, and Fort George.

I like breweries that show great quality across a wide range of beers, with a couple of real standouts in my favorite styles.

In an oversight, I forgot to include B.C., so if anyone wants to nominate Brassneck, go right ahead.

I thought about BC when voting, but decided against it. Four Winds would probably be my favorite. I've been to Brassneck but was only kinda impressed with the raspberry sour beer. Everything else was ok.

Really? I've loved everything I've had from them.

I guess I misunderstood your OP. I read it to mean that you wanted a single nominee, which for me would be impossible. However, if I can go with my top 10 choices:

    Midnight Sun
    Boneyard
    Barley Brown
    Pfriem
    Breakside
    Fremont
    HOTD
    Bend Brewing
    Deschutes
    Block 15

I've had Magic Beans, Passive Aggressive, Small Wonder, Raspberry Changeling, Brassneck Ale and Free Radical. They were all solid beers but nothing that blew me out of the water. This was also at the brewery in July 2015.

Four Winds makes kickass IPAs, saisons and pilsners which are the kinds of beers that really make me happy.

Agree with this and big plans afoot at ABC - major expansion just getting started to include canning line for IPAs, coolship, 6 treatments of Darkest Hour already in barrels, 4 treatments of ADWTD, Time Waits (30 year tawny port casks) B2 before end of the year, blueberry gose, bottled "An Eternity", more fruited beers...
