Is there a pickup window, or just a one day pickup?

Can we just assume it's like every other AleSmith release for now?

While the newsletter didn't state a pickup window timeframe, they have never done a single day pickup for an online sale. So I would venture a guess that 1month or 1.5months will be the window.

There will be proxies for it. There has to be. A few people that bought into the early access aren't even in CA.

So as PG2G said above, it is going to be like every other Alesmith release, this one will just go quickly since it is bavss paired with another speedway.

Hmmm, actually based on all those events at Alesmith I may have to invest in a tent and be one of those monkish fucbois and just sleep in the parking lot all week.

Thanks for the reply man! Going to be out for Christmas this year at the in-laws (in Yorba Linda) from 12-20 thru 12-28 so hopefully the pickup window goes until at least then. Never tried BAVSS but heard it's one of the best they make! Cheers

P.S. @SDReaper or @reidjoshua care to help a brotha out and PM me the link to purchase a ticket?

Just writing to say @SDReaper is one of the coolest/most helpful dudes on BA. Also heard he has a huge package... probably why he can't wear skinny jeans...

Say fellas, I see a lot of out state folks setting up proxies with local people for BAVSS. please stop, you're hurting my chances of getting bottles. thanks, you guys are awesome.

Almost makes me want to set up a proxy in hopes I'm the one that shuts you out.

It's amazing how my network of friends that normally proxy haven't been asked the past few releases and now, pretty much within the hour of the newsletter going out they are all overloaded and trying to find others to help out.

I didn't even see the email and I had PMs here, a few FB messages and a couple txt messages within 10ish minutes.

So, what I hear you saying is that you're still available as a proxy...

Ha! First person that asked over all mediums based on timestamp is who I said I would help out. I know there are some less-than-desirable proxies out there that cherry pick the whole "what is the best I can get?" but I always do it if they can either send label and a couple bucks for packing or cover the cost of label and packing materials. I never understood those that say "I can, but I need at least 1 bottle as payment". I am going to be there anyways, so what's grabbing a couple extra bottles to help out? Or maybe I am doing the proxy game wrong, I don't know. Never expect anything in return, just trying to help out and get the BA alesmith bottles out there. Sure down the line I hope the people I proxied for remember how quick and painless I made it so that if a release is in their area they can help me out but even then I don't really mind.

Beer is meant to be shared.

I don't think eventbrite accepts SNAP, so I'm not worried about you.

No doubt it has to do with the quality of the beer. I loved the regular Vietnamese & have heard how great the barrel-aged version is, & if I've heard that way out here in flyover country, plenty of others have too. Alesmith puts out so many top-shelf barrel-aged beers that it's come to them putting out something truly extraordinary to get this kind of attention.
