See my other comment... I think it must have been late... NOT Dogfish Head, YES to Smuttynose.

40 taps IS excessive... that's why we're going with 48... because we are totally off the hook!!!

I really can't wait for you to finally be through all that red tape, and pouring some delicious beverages! Hope to see you on opening night.

Me too, Ruckit, me too... We almost suffered a setback on Wednesday that would have put us off by another additional 2-3 weeks, but thankfully the inspector in question saw the light, and changed his stance. Now we're down to the final inspection for our certificate of occupancy and our health inspection. At that point they hand us out liquor license and we start training staff like crazy. It does finally seem like I can see the opening out their on the horizon...

(dialing back to "maybe"... the distributor that was whispering in my ear they could get it done has back pedaled a bit... darn it.) I HAVE reached out straight to Peter of Bissell with my predicament asking if there's any chance he can help me save face... we shall see. YOu may be right in your skepticism.

Not skepticism, more optimism that they might be able to send occasional kegs to MA in the wake of their brewery expansion.

Let's keep our collective fingers crossed... I'd really like to serve their beer.

Bumping - this place gonna open? I'll plan visit for 3-4 weeks after. Unfair to make assessment right away.

List looks good. Be nice if pour sizes also were listed (unless all are the same or the info otherwise is provided).

Yeah, we'll get the pour sizes into our real, day in and day out menu... it was a mad scramble to get this one done before our event. I'll say this... we're trying to keep our prices as manageable as we possibly can despite the fact we pay a pretty penny for these crafty brews. Most of our pour sizes range from 10-14 ounces ACTUAL. (Meaning we're finding as we measure our glassware there is a pretty big discrepancy... most of our "12 oz" glassware is actually 10 ounces if you leave room for a head... most of the "16 oz" stuff is closer to 14 or 14.5)

My wife and I attended last night's soft opening for friends and family. We couldn't have been more impressed. The food was great, the beer list was just as good (24/48 taps were in use) and the bill was cheaper than expected. We live within walking distance so we'll certainly frequent this spot on a regular basis.

Oh, @phantomchef - my wife enjoyed being the first vegetarian served at your restaurant. Thanks for accommodating!
