Anybody have thoughts or details to share about their stout, A Thousand Years? How does it differ from BQE or Lazy Ax- just a straight up RIS? Looking forward to trying it but wondered if anyone else who had it could compare it to their other stouts. Thanks!

wheres the best place to figure out what they have on tap/in cans?

Their website is completely out of date, their twitter hasnt been used in weeks, and their instagram doesn't really let you know what they have for retail every day.

trying to visit on Thursday since I'll be in Queens for SingleCut, but not going blind.

I cant wait to go to the brewery and buy both of these with no issue days after everyone lines up.

Really wish they'd distribute to local bottle shops more...

...and lose money? They have to sell the cans at a lower price to the distributors, who then mark it up and resell them to the local shops, who mark it up again. I don't blame them to try to sell as many as possible at the brewery and then sell the extras to the distributors. I know, easier for you, but they are a business trying to make money.

They seem to have no problem distributing some cans... i picked up some of their IPA at my local, but nothing else. And I've seen cans show up in Boston for the same price as a 4 pack from the brewery, so I'm not sure what the deal is.

What I don't get is why they keep cans at the brewery for months at a time that would be long gone if they were distributed. They still have cans of Procrastination at the brewery...unless its a new batch, aren't those cans like 2 months old?

My point exactly. Can you imagine how low they must have to sell the cans to the distributor so it's the same price in Boston as it is at the brewery?

You're right, but clearly they have no problem doing it. My point is that they are already distributing, yet have 2 month old cans just sitting around waiting to be sold.

Probably not enough cans left over to send to the distributor. Their net profit was higher selling at the brewery directly, even with leftovers.

No line at all. OSC006 cans still avail as well.

Surprised by the two middling ratings for Chromoscope. Had it on tap at Milk and Hops Astor Place and it was delicious. M&H also had Lagunitas Imperial Stout aged in Willets Barrels and it was great. 8 ounces for $6 was quite the surprise too.

I was surprised to see Chromoscope and Cell were not trending higher. That said, I was planning to sit out Chromoscope as I don't usually enjoy Simcoe-centric IPA's. And yes, the Lagunitas BA Stout there was bananas. I hope it makes it into bottles eventually.
