Unfortunately, I also encountered a less than ideal batch 2661 bottle. Day 1 of my 12 days of SHIT. Grabbed a bottle without checking the batch, took a few sips and it was definitely off, so I was surprised to see it was batch 2661. Handed a glass off to my girlfriend without saying anything and she immediately said "Is this shit infected?"

Remaining 11 days of SHIT is postponed indefinitely on account of me not giving a shit anymore.

I believe I heard someone say in the tasting room that the Frederick H. beer is the base beer for the Frucht series. Sorry if this has been brought up before. I love the frucht series and like the taste way better than most other sours from The Bruery, beside Les Ronces. Mmmmmmm Les Ronces!

Just did the tour yesterday. For sure one is called Soul Foeder but I don't remember the other ones name. It was something cleaver like Soul Foeder as well.

The old stainless tanks they have are named, Pat, Rick and Rue.

Also these are already bottled in terreux. They are sitting right next to the bottling line.

I believe this is 'new Berliner Weisse' listed on the horizon of the latest RS email.

Hopefully it's the same price as hottenroth

& I agree with bottling more frucht variants. So many good ones that are on tap only that I wish I could try

I have not had all of the frucht versions yet but from what I have tried thus far, I have not enjoyed them more than good old hottenroth.

Im likely in the minority here but I enjoy tart berliners that I can drink by the gallon, not ones that are so sour I get heartburn after 3oz....

I rather enjoy the increased sourness, heck I'd be happy with a bit more.

Do you just have dentures now? I could feel my teeth dissolving when I had Mother Pucker last.

Speaking of which, I still have a bottle with no intention of drinking it unless someone tries to tell me that Upland sours are the most sour beer they've ever had.

Send that bitch East, I'll drink it.

The most sour beer I've ever had was Verzet's Oud Bruin. Dead flat, straight vinegar. 375mL took me three hours to finish. I'd do it again tomorrow too. Upland does do some damn sour stuff though.

Still a priority for us. I'll circle back when there's a meaningful update.

I meant Mother Funker by the way. I just don't know how to type stuff that early.

Grab some kool-aid and make a lambic out of it.

The last bottle of mother funker I had seemed to have lost the sourness. Really was quite tame.

Upland Raspberry Lambic is a favorite of mine. Not all Uplands are made the same however.

Skull Ole comes to mind for extremely sour beers I've had most recently.

Seconded. Like liquid Warhead puckering on the sourness level.
