Westbrook 2016 Releases

They did last year... It took about an hour with no formal announcement. And no I don't think they sold all the tickets, but maybe they sold a batch of 50.

 

It took about an hour after they posted the details and link to their Facebook page. I had a ticket in my cart 30 minutes after their post, but couldn't find a way to make it that weekend.

This year they have not posted to their Facebook page regarding the details and link.

 

Event page says ID must match the name on file, nothing about CCs... and IIRC from the Modern Times releases, you have to add your name to the "ticket" in a separate area than the CC area.

 

Yea last year I was able to purchase the ticket with my credit card and put my friends name down on the "will call/pick up" list and he had no issues.

 

this thread gave me cancer.

 

Event has been updated, all references to 10am Nov 1st removed on BPT.

 

People have to figure out whatever way around the rules they possibly can.

 

Can anyone confirm or deny that the name has to match the credit card info? As in can I buy a ticket and put a name down for someone to pick it up?

 

"When you purchase a ticket your name will be added to our list of attendees. No physical or electronic tickets will be distributed.

A valid 21+ photo ID is required to pick up your bottles. THE NAME ON THE ID MUST MATCH THE NAME ON THE ATTENDEE LIST.

There is a limit of one ticket per person. Do not purchase multiple tickets using the same name. We will only hand out 8 bottles per person. Remember, the name on our list MUST MATCH THE NAME ON YOUR ID."

Correct... but I also think BPT has a separate section for the name on the ticket and the credit card information (including name).

 

They do. Only worry is that they ask to see your CC as well as your ID like that one guy said they did.

 

That is definitely the concern... most said it wasn't an issue, but there is that one guy. Haha.

 

Our only hope is Westbrook posting something official with more details. $270 is a big risk. I'm three hours away so not too far of a drive.

 

I wouldn't buy a ticket if I knew I wasn't going to be able to make the pickup date. Just my $.02

 

I'm in CA but my lady's best friend lives 4 miles from Westbrook. Just not sure she'll be up for giving me her CC info or battling for a ticket online on my behalf... especially at 12am.

Man... if I was a 3 hour drive away, it wouldn't even be a question for me!

 

I did hear they were checking that the credit card matched the second weekend last year. I picked up the first weekend though so maybe they caught on people were using proxies.

 

Gotcha. This year is sounds like only a single day window?

 

Last year was 2 weekends due to the storm and flooding furing the original pickup day.
