I wish for thistles, Glencairn glasses, and Viking horn vessels to start showing up at the thrift stores and consignment shops around here.
Edit: And I wish for more shelf space.
Pipe dreams =/= wishes. But I'm with you all the way on this.

Other Half makes more of their OWN beer as opposed to collabs

Hoof Hearted and Monkish distribute cans to NY. I didn't put NJ cause I feel NY would be more obtainable.

MBC releases Dinner more frequently (every month!)

The Ram Resturarant & Brewery makes an entire series based on girl scout cookies. They did do Side Note - Gimme Somoa

Required bottled/canned on dates in human readable format. It is as important as ABV to me. And I could care less what the IBUs are, that measure is far less meaningful than it gets credit for and in fact is often times misleading.

Removal of stale beer from package store shelves. Your seven month old DIPA is a disservice to customers and is wasting valuable shelf real estate.

More thoughtful curatorship of tap lists in craft beer bars. Lots of places are far too one dimensional and don't seem to have a theme or intention.

Legal beer shipping just like what is available in the wine industry.

Break up distributor monopolies in states where they're legally required and allowed to dominate territories. Let distributors compete against each other within a region and with overlapping inventories.

That a small meteor descends from Heaven and smashes Columbia distributing into smithereens (without hurting anyone) in order to give all that old beer they have a proper burial and we on the Oregon Coast can start over with fresh beer rather than everyone elses hand me downs

More breweries making it to Tennessee... And not just Nashville.... it's a shame at the beer that sits over there and collect dust. Beer I'd love to see in West Tennessee.

Required bottle dating, bottled on XX-XX-XXXX format please...

    Let's see....

    1.) Any beer I haven't had yet
    2.) Another beer I haven't had yet

I chased beers, howeverly naively, in 2016. 2017 is going to be about enjoying what I can get. I have a few trusted trade partners that I would happy to trade with, but I'm not seeking out anything in particular. That has led me to nothing but disappointment in the past.

I wish for breweries to start listing Nephelometric Turbidity Units (NTU) on their IPAs, or "hops" as the kids call them these days. We get ABV and IBUs listed, well it's high time we get NTUs too given the increasing importance turbidity has in our enjoyment of IPAs. This would eliminate the awful feeling of opening an IPA only to be let down by being able to see my fingers on the other side of the glass. I can't take an picture of that for IG, let alone drink it frankly.
