Muncie, Indy, surrounding area tasting group?

I live in Mercer County Ohio. I'm about an hour drive from the center of Muncie. If you ever schedule something, I might be interested if it's on the weekend. I have a decent cellar collection as well that I've been trying to get down. I've got a couple friends that may make the trip with me as well, if that's cool.

 

I live on the north side of Indy. I have a slew of Bruery Reserve Society beers, DLs, Upland sours, etc., and similar to you, marriages, relocations (including my own), and kids have pretty much killed the beer sharing aspect of my life...

My wife and I share tons of fantastic beer, but I have way more than two people can consume alone. Would definitely be interested in putting something together.

 

I'm Northside indy as well, have a pretty decent cellar and would love to participate if something is put together

 

Yeah I could be so inclined. Pre-thanksgiving is likely a no go for me due to travel and other weekend plans I have in stone, but mid-December, may work. I'll BM you / follow-up in this thread.

My house isn't huge by any stretch but we have a 2 car garage connected to our basement that is 15x20 and has a bathroom; throw a few card tables down for bottles in the basement or garage if the weather is remotely decent -- I think that'd work well...Parking is the only issue we have. No street parking in our neighborhood is allowed and our driveway can only hold two cars. 4-5 spots right across the street that are hit or miss, otherwise looking at walking ~2 blocks, so not a huge issue, though not ideal either.

 

There is an Indy group called Indianapolis Beer Trade & Discussion. If you want to join, just send me a message and I'll add you to the group (since it's a 'secret' group on FB).

Along with that, I'm planning for the group a meetup at Daredevil, most likely on Sunday, November 6th. If things going according to plan, there will most likely be a bottle share somewhere afterward.

Anyhow, I'm down for any other kinds of meetups from here. Definitely have quite a bit of stuff to bring.

Im in South Bend and am down to drive to/host a share. Probably can't host anything larger than 2 or 3 people until after the new year, but would like to be a part of this new group. I usually just pop the "fun stuff" with a few buddies that contribute little but enjoy the beer. Please keep me updated if something develops.

 

I'm out for the 10th, will be traveling. As of now I'd say either of those January weekends look good for me.

 

December 10th would probably work. January 21st would probably not. 30th birthday is the 22nd and I'm planning a bottle share I've been saving (5 year vertical of some sours) up for for a while (probably on 21st). After the initial sharing, I'm sure much more drinking will happen, so I'm out that weekend.

 

I live about 15 miles north of Muncie and would be interested in joining up for a share anytime. Similar situation, tons of beer in the cellar and just looking for some people to enjoy them with.

 

Would love to be apart of something like this. I can host about 6/10 people at my place. But would need to be mid day on a Saturday as we will have a newborn. I live on the southside franklin township southeast most part of Marion county.

 

January 14th may work for me. Location may affect if I can arrive as well. I'm having a big birthday party the following weekend, so I may take that weekend easy in preparation.
