I believe MFer was sort of a starting point for the Rueze series. I've got one plus one of each year of Rueze stashed away to do a decade tasting once I hit 10 bottles.

TTB applications show the next frucht looks to be a cherry variant. Would make sense based on it being a fruit they worked with twice earlier this year (Oude tart w cherries and TOD with cherries and vanilla). Wonder if there is a nectarine variant in play given how loved room for me was.

How does it taste? I'm not sure the color is all that off, but I haven't had too much of the CR. Too sweet for me.

CR is always a brownish color, as do almost all of the bruery stouts...

It's this year. The taste was alright. Not what I remember it being. Still drinkable. I just remember it being darker. Looked at pics on untappd and they seem to be black. Here's another look

That's about what the 2015 we drank a few weeks ago looked like. Tasted amazing.

Some of the pours in tasting room were varied in color too...i think some had better filtration than others. i wouldnt worry.

Ya. I'm not too worried. More curious than anything. Just remember the first bottle being dark then opened this one and color threw me off. Like I said, still drinkable and it actually tasted better/normal as it warmed. Cheers guys

At least for me, that is a beer I don't want colder than cellar temp.

That looks like what I had at the tasting room a few weeks/months ago.

You opened it cold? No wonder it looked weird.

How does opening it cold make it look different?

I was just implying that a beer like that shouldn't ever be cold, especially when consumed.

How about receiving tracking information before GSO shows up at your door? So we have some idea of when to be home
