    I found this question very interesting. Here are my results.

    Popular = 29 with 3 still in the cellar and untried.

    Hall of Fame = 71

    But when I took out the beers I would never try because I can't stand the styles (any Belgian including, Quad, Dubbel, Trippel, Lambic, Gueuze, American Wild, Farmhouse or Sour) the numbers were quite interesting.

    Popular still = 29 + 3 but I will never even attempt 25 of them. So do the math and I get 57 of the 100 or 57% and of course that is ever changing.

    The Hall of Fame came out this way. 71 tried and 24 that I will never spend any energy hunting down because they fall in the same categories as above. So that puts me at 95% of the HoF.

    Further more I went on to look at my favorite styles and I have tried 18 of the 50 IPA's and 22 of 50 IIPA's and 11 of the Double Stout or RIS with 5 still in my cellar untried.

    So my own study shows that the top 100 (Hall of Fame or Popularity) is very subject and IMO will rarely blanket all Beer Advocates. Unless you don't care about anything except ticking but I believe that is a very minute group.

    I've reviewed 42 of the Top 100, and had about 13 more that I haven't reviewed.

    I've reviewed 46 of the Beers of Fame, and had another 46 that I didn't formally review.

    41/100 for the popular
    28/100 beers of fame.

    Not bad since not a single one of these beers is available in South Africa!

    Also seems like I am the only person with more from the popular list :grinning:
