Short's Brewing Releases & Updates (2018)

Did anyone spot the new variety pack in the metro Detroit area? Plymouth or Royal Oak?

A pretty good example of how a company can make a political joke without getting political. But I'm guessing this precludes any "Huma and a Weiner" specials at the pub. Wakka Wakka !

 

They were stacked on the floor, next to the end-cap of the beer section - the area where they typically put the new releases as you enter the craft beer isle. I think 7 cases sounds about right - it was clear some had already sold before I arrived. I also looked around in multiple areas and it appeared that was all they had.

 

Ha....I know where you are talking and not surprising.

Crap. That's a half hour from where I'm at. Trying to be patient for it to show up my way but the temptation to just drive out there is crazy.

 

One of my spots already said he intends to break up into singles because of the low allocation. Better than nothing I guess.

 

See thats BS.....its intended to be sold as a pack....Low allocation or not...

 

Just picked up the variety pack at the meijer in auburn hills. Hope I can get through these all in a timely manner.

Searched at w bloomfield whole foods and commerce meijer w no luck on the 12pk. Ill continue the search after work wish me luck

 

My guess is that this 12 pack isn't going to hit Oakland County until normal distribution dates next week

If your looking at Meijers and they don't have their holiday center aisle display out yet its in the back room....I talked to the Westside distributor today and he showed it to me.. ....Once the display is up it will be out....I plan to get one tomorrow....He had about 16-12 packs ready to be put out....FYI for those looking

Do you know if this is for most Meijer locations or the ones out your way? I've got the Livonia and Northville Meijers near me.
I checked at both today and did notice they have the last variety pack on sale, along with most Short's brews.

 

Could be the just the ones out this way but in most general cases Meijer has their displays the same through the Michigan regions....But they do change the products displayed based on the local market....But I would assume if they have the holiday display and the gift sets it will be on there once it arrives at the store....We had/have the regular 12 packs and the other one that had guess the hops down the beer aisle...The hoppy holiday one will be only on the center aisle holiday display....from what I seen and talking to the Westside distributor....
