Much easier time today getting bottles. Maybe just 2 is the magic number?

I just kept getting the "no events currently scheduled" message until it eventually came up indicating sold out. I have still never once successfully purchased beer online.

Their Instagram says they sold out in a minute today. Crazy!

I am one of the ones that posted on other social sites that I was disappointed with this method, because of the difficulty it can pose. I was not cruel, mean, or rudely negative in any way. My wife, a school teacher, had no chance at bottles due to time frame of release. Even though I was disappointed I am still understanding.
Fonta has always done everything they can to provide the best customer experience they can. They went out of their way with the Sal infection issue.
I remember the release that quite a few things got outour hhand...he guy and his wife causing problems that almost ended up in a fight, and another group of guys urinating beside the seamstress' business and filling her trash cans with their bottles. I myself thought that there should be another way and furthermore the lids should act like adults. My favorite release that Fonta has done so far was the wristband and no line method. Everyone lined up in their numerical places with no arguements and the line ran quite smoothly. This method also provided lots of income to other local establishments in Morganton. I witnessed others traveling around shopping and eating all over town. My wife and I grabbed a good lunch, went and watched a movie, and then grabbed a few brews at Brown Mountain. Second favorite was the 2 pp per day (Carolina Custard). That's my second because I travel 3+ hrs. round trip, but i still like it.
I did have success for the first time ever on a online brew release and was more than excited. I look forward to enjoying Fonta's 3 birthday. Thank you Fonta for doing everything you can to please everyone even though its impossible. Thanks for the amazing brews and everything you give back to our economy and local farmers here in NC. Our local farming communities really need all the help they can get. Sadly people just don't have the respect for farmers these days. Thanks again we'll see you soon.

No worries, I was at the release you are referring to, and was disgusted with some of the stuff going on. Also, that was some good coffee, thank you.

Any recommendations on good places to eat near Fonta Flora? Heading down on Sunday from Asheville after a hike. Thanks in advance.

Probably should just eat in Asheville (they just have so many damn good choices!).

I stopped by Wisteria in Morganton the last time I was at FF, and wow, much disappointment for how highly rated it was, and not exactly 'inexpensive' either.

I'd recommend Mountain Burrito or Moondog (pizza). Wisteria (farm to table restaurant) has brunch 11:30-3:00PM and dinner starting at 5:00.

I hate to derail the thread, but just out of curiosity what did you have?

The grass fed burger. It was an absolute mess. A patty that did not hold it's shape, along with buns that were dry and not made for that burger. I have seen people knock Farmburger in Asheville, but even they made a far better burger.

I haven't tried Mountain Burrito though and might have to give them a shot while I am out there this weekend.

We really liked Wisteria the one time we went. Couldn't say what we had, been a little bit.

There were 125 magnums. I wish they had bottled them regularly and allowed more 4 or 2 Bottle allotments instead of allowing people to double (or triple or quadruple) dip.
