no surprise there, saw very few people buying the full allotments last night. And while Trendler is good, it's still just a pilsner. You can almost buy 3 cases of Prima or other local canned pils for the same price.

Helles Other People lasted several days last time, at least until Sunday. Trendler will likely do the same.

Helles Other People lasted at least a week. I remember buying some at the following week's can release.

"You can buy 2-3 cases of XXX or other local XXX for the same price."

This statement is true for most of Tired Hand's beer......

True but their IPA's and stouts are a little more unique than Trendler.

Trendler is a good pilsner and all but you can easily buy other good pilsners while you can't just go to nearby bottle shops around and get hazy IPA's at any price.

Exactly - even their stouts, while very good, don't draw me as much as their IPAs and Pale Ales.

Well I don't care if an IPA is hazy or not, just whether its good. Dirtwolf and DFH 90 Min are in every shop.

And neither are suitable analogs for the IPAs that Tired Hands brews.

Honestly - I don't think their saisons get enough love.

They're great but never canned! If only they'd sell some in cans.

I agree, I think their wood-fermented beers are what make them a truly outstanding brewery. SaisonHands/Ourison is an incredibly good beer, and its majorly slept-on. I don't have a problem with that though, as long as they keep brewing it

I think the point is, while there are tons of very good IPAs, I can't think of one that has the same flavor profile as the TH IPAs that is readily available. I love Dirt Wolf, have some in my fridge right now. But it's not the same.

The last line of this post is exactly what makes people not like their attitude. What is the reason for that?

tiredhandsbrewingWe got tired of adding flour to the kettle, so now we are adding bread to our mash. =)
    .
Editor's Note: WE HAVE ONLY EVER ADDED WHEAT FLOUR TO OUR MILKSHAKE IPAS, but realize that a number of brewers are now doing it as a result of some misinformation floating around in our collective unconscious. While we think this technique is fun, it is not absolutely necessary in the process of making hazy IPAs like we have been making over the past four and a half years now. Do what you want. Have fun. No idea is original. Whatever, man.#dreambeer

Maybe I am just too much of a fanboy at this point but I have always read their posts as more whimsical than insulting? Do I think that they have a great handle on addressing the consumer when they have issues? No, but otherwise I am all for Tired Hands being Tired Hands.

It doesn't bother me at all, and I don't see why it would. Why do people take all of this so seriously?

It seems to be part of a conversation going around among brewers of hazy beers. King Brewing Company posted this last week, where they mention that unlike others they don't add flours to their "juice" beers:

"It's just beer maaaaan... But don't stop lining up for hours to buy it!"
    They're goofy, it's their thing.
Me too. Dirtwolf is great but it's a very different beer. I enjoy both types of IPA's.
