Oops, hadn't logged in for a while (been really busy with the brewery and getting settled in!) and missed some posts.

Working in a production brewery was never really my dream. I always have wanted to brew a large variety of beer with a focus on high quality, innovative beers. I got to the point that I was stressed constantly and trying to manage that type of brewery was not what I got into the industry to do. However, I was always loyal to Blue Pants and couldn't bare the thought of leaving. After my wife and I got married, she mentioned that she wanted a change of scene from Huntsville and I stumbled upon the perfect opportunity. She is an artist and now we live in a community of artists, I have some really great equipment to work with, and being in a self-distribution state, we don't have to worry so much about producing large volumes. I'll be starting an extensive barrel program here, brewing lots of sours and brett beers, and enjoying having a life outside of the brewery as well. I owe a lot to Blue Pants for giving me a start in the industry and for giving me an opportunity that is very rare as a brewer. Not many people would have put faith in a 21 year old kid the way Blue Pants did.

Glad you heard good things! From what I can see, there seems to be a lot of attention and hype around that beer, and it has been very fun to see the reception! We have a pale ale and double IPA being released next week in Tucson at the Tap and Bottle on Wednesday for a Meet the Brewer event. Any chance you'll make it out?

You been to the Bisbee Breakfast Club Yet? I miss the hell out of that place!

The fact that you're brewing kickass beverages around there is giving me another reason to come back to my old stomping grounds.

Not yet! I was planning on going last weekend, but didn't realize how popular and packed it would be.

Welcome to AZ. Wasn't able to grab a growler of your IPA earlier this week in the valley, but certainly looking forward to trying it.

Do you guys have a taproom at the brewery?

@honkey I just missed you guys tonight by a few minutes! The IPA and pale were both great, I look forward to trying more of your beers soon. A few of us beer nerds are gonna try to make a trip down to the brewery once the taproom opens too.

Really like reading your blog posts, quality reads. I’ve had a few tombstone beers on tap while in Phoenix which I’m in a few time a year. All have been superb. Really need to get down to the brewery one of these days, it’s on the bucket list!
