I was told the same, but am still awaiting the refund to hit my card which was supposedly processed on 10/25 (Black Tuesday). Still no credit which is odd since it usually takes 2-3 days.

Well technically I called them Sunday the 30th. I had no indication on my bank account that a refund had been authorized, until today. It was already fully refunded, not pending.

See, I know a bought a few bottles both online and here in store since it hit distro, and three were infected, but since the order history is gone from the site I can't determine how many I got online and which of those (if able to tell) were bad. Really missing the old site more and more, and I'm the last person to complain about things.

Had the same exact problem, and I do not think you can tell which bottles were purchased from The Bruery store. When I asked for my refund, they asked me where the bottles were purchased from. I told them the truth, that I bought some through my membership, and I bought a few more from total wine, and I hvae no clue which one was infected. They said, "Oh, I see you bought bottles through our online store with your membership, we will refund you for one of those bottles".

Guess I am late to the party but I saw back on page 113-114 someone made reference to so beer being infected, was that "So Happens Its Tuesday"? Im asking because I have 2 bottle and just so happen to be flying to LA from Florida this Saturday and will be at members Monday I could then bring the bottles back to exchange if they are indeed bad. Any info would be great

Yes. Seems like it was a few batch 2661 and a bunch in batch 2662.

I'm not sure they are exchanging beers that haven't been opened, are they? I thought they were giving refunds to open bottles that were for sure infected.

Exactly this. They'll refund for bad bottles, but won't exchange unopened bottles.

Looks like someone needs to enjoy their SHiT before they fly out!

Well, check your bottles... If you have Batch 2661 they have a better chance of being good. If you have a 2662 then more likely to be bad. So if you have one of each try the 2662 first. Then if it's bad move on to the next one. If it's good then you can decide if you want to sit on the other, or go for 2 in 2 days. It's only 14%, so in isolation, it shouldn't be doable. If it were a BT, CR, MW or GM then I would say otherwise.

I would say that even batch 2661 are bad. Look back at a couple pages of posts and youll see 2661 as being infected.

Is it free? If not what is the cost?

But IMHO they are less likely to be infected. I didn't mean to imply none of them are, but less of them are.

It's a members-only, complimentary event. Reserve and Hoarders Society members can claim a spot via their "Current Allocations".
