Thank y'all, that's exactly what I was looking for. I've been to a few smaller tap rooms, but I might have too large a group for those. I'll check out Flaming Grill sometime for an earlier game, looks like that place closes at 9

I know the Sac area beers from the State Fair beer festival and Ca Brew Fest summit (2 fests we go to every year) as well as other beer festivals around Nor Ca. They sell a lot of them like Knee Deep (I get Breaking Bud a lot), Track 7 and a few others at Monument Liquors in Concord where i get a lot of good beer.

Since I'm new to the area, I have no idea how these releases go. Any insight as to whether or not these cans last till the weekend?

They are super mellow. It is at both Track 7 tap rooms (CPark & Natomas) This release will also be 2 different beers. So they should last a bit longer.

The Mosuka Double IPA will probably be gone in a day or 2. The CL Pale Ale will probably last till the weekend since it has already been on tap for a few weeks and most have had it.

There is also an emerging secondary source for these local SAC can releases as several local stores/bottle shops are now getting them a day or so after release.

    5 main places:

La Riviera Market already has the new cans in from Track7. They also just got more New Glory Astro Haze. Doubt they will last to long as this just got posted in the Sac Beer Eth FB group.

So did anyone else see the news that Golden Road is opening up a brewpub in Midtown where the old City Suds was? Sac Business Journal had a little blurb, but the rest was behind a paywall and I really just don't care enough to dig further.

Just seems like a really odd fit.

If you are part of Sac Beer Enthusiast or Sac Beer Group on facebook, they both had lengthy discussions yesterday. The owner of Track 7 even chimed in there at SBE.

Just another stealthy way for Inbev to invade another hot and emerging local craft market. Hopefully the locals don't bite and it will just fade away, BUT, it is the uniformed that will probably go there, unfortunately that is a big group of people.

But back to some good Sac news....

Bike Dog just did a can release yesterday for Cone of Shame IPA. 3rd anniversary for BD.

Track 7 just release a Triple IPA. LERELE ... 12%

Moonraker also has another YOJO and DOJO can release on 11/11 next Friday. A trip up to Auburn is in order for that for sure.

Thanks for the heads up on SBE.

What you mentioned was pretty much my impression of the whole thing too re: InBev looking to get into the market.

Some news about the Track 7 "5th Anniversary" party on 12/31/16. They are doing 6 colab beers with other breweries. Not much detail other then they will be available in 16oz can format in a "6 pack".

The breweries participating in this project include -- Alvarado Street, Bike Dog, Fieldwork, Modern Times, Revision and 3 Weavers. Revision is the former head brewer/owner at Knee Deep.

They have only posted this on the 2 local Sacramento Beer groups so far.

How long do you all think Yojo & Dojo cans will last?

Just stopped in at noon today. Plenty of YOJO and Dojo cans left. They are limiting YOJO to three 4 packs per person now.

They did sell a ton on Friday though, steady line most of night. Cousins lobster food truck was also out there adding to the big crowd.

I was thinking about making the drive out there but I can't seem to fit it into my schedule. Thanks for the update, though. Definitely gonna try to make it out after finals next month.

Just an update on Moonraker. DOJO cans sold out as it was a smaller batch. Still Yojo cans left. Also a few craft bottle shops are going to be carrying them (Yojo) in Sacramento this week (LaRiv and Curtis Park).

I got both cans. Drinking great. Had the Sling Jaw IPA as well.
