Bad news: I live in a cave so I totally missed the Bourbon County refund offer.

Good news: I am having my first 2015 BCBS from the 11/4/15 batch (14.3% / 1443) and there's no hint of any infection. It's somewhat boozy, but no sour cherry/metallic taste. Overall, it's a delightful beer. Hope my other 4 bottles (all are 11/4/15 and bottled around the same time) are similar...

I probably would have taken the refund if given the opportunity, but I'd rather have an enjoyable beer, and that's what I have now...

I sent mine in on 9/14, and received the check today. 6 BCBS and 2 Prop's= $140. Thrilled to get anything for them.
Been drinking the skanky BCBS stout and they aren't half bad. Not up to standard but worth $10/bottle.

Has anyone had any good bottles from the accepted dates? I have three 10/9s.

Nope, PM me for my address to send them to for science.

I know it's a long thread, so tough to ready through it all, but yes, your bottles could be fine. I've had both good and bad bottles from the "affected" dates. I wouldn't waste time drinking them if I were you.

I sent in 4 neck labels for bottles dated 10/9. So far I've drank 2 and they've been sublime.

Every single on of my bottles was 11/4. They were fine initially, but at some point they all just turned and I ended up having to pour out about 10 at once.

Sent in my labels the day before the deadline. Got a check back yesterday for $375. The situation sucks, but I'm happy with the response by GI so i'll be investing most of that back into BCS this year.

No respect for not standing behind your product. Your name is fitting. Cool story.

Sent mine in two days before the deadline and got my refund last Friday. Those who have yet to get theirs back, have faith...i called two weeks ago and wasn't on the "declined" list but hadn't had a check cut yet, so I waited...and it showed...

Sent mine in July 22, still waiting. I plan on reinvesting in beer. Of course that'seems to be true for non refund money too.

I'm glad you know so much about how I should be spending my time. Since 2010 I've had a kid, for you information, and priorities change. I don't spend as much time on these sites as I used to. I'm still drinking the case+ of 2012 that I have and bought 2015 to put away - but obviously I should have just known a cellared beer that I didn't drink was bad. You keep questioning my motives - who are you - I guess I missed also missed the job posting on here for the GI BS story sniffer.

That doesn't change the fact is they made a bad beer and after me being a solid customer of theirs since 2008 they have stolen from me, as I see it. They know they have issues, I don't care if they have done more than some other crappy company - they sold bad beer and then have put an arbitrary time limit on fixing it. This isn't me wanting money back because I'm disappointed that 2015 isn't as good as 2014. This is a case that they made beer that frankly tastes like vomit and they aren't standing behind their brand. I find it weird that you need to defend them so much. What did I do wrong in this customer/company interaction? I didn't give them phony money, they gave me an inferior beer and they've admitted it but you feel they did good enough because they took care of you. At this point, they are unredeemable. I could get my money back and I still won't support a company that operates in this manner.

    Quick question;

I have not opened my bottle of Prop, and have 2 bottles of Regular (as well as Regal).

Is there ANY chance they aren't infected? Has anyone had a bottle lately that wasn't?

I've drank 2 of my 4 10/9 bottles in the last month that i requested refunds before and they were phenomenal...so there's a chance.

I opened roughly 2.5cs of regular about 2 months ago, all but (1 btl) were undrinkable.

Tl;DR version- They sold me bad beer, I want my money back, I missed the date, I am upset, I won't buy their beer again.

Tl;dr I'm special and it isn't fair that nobody reached out to me personally because I'm a special little flower. I should have had somebody bring me cash and a bottle of rare because I'm sad. It isn't even fair they wanted me to mail a letter, that's hard! Now, I'm not going to buy the one or two six packs I bought every year because my precious little feelings were hurt.

I award you a participation ribbon for posting here, do you feel better?

They sold me a possibly bad product, they returned my money (and gave me an extra 3 dollars) because I paid attention. You continue to bitch and moan that, like everything in life, you were left out because you didn't pay attention. Nothing wrong with having different priorities and ignoring things like this, but the idea that they should cater to you forever is simply stupid.

I just bought two hdmi cables from Newegg because they were free after rebate, I was busy and didn't send the rebates in, now the rebate window has expired. I'm not bitching, you shouldn't be either.
