On the fence now. A buddy of mine is having his first kid soon and completely forgot that Saturday is the "guys" baby shower (basically one last excuse for him to have all the guys over for games and drinking before it gets difficult to have large events). My attendance to the share pretty much depends on if I come home Saturday/early Sunday or not until later Sunday (he lives in WV, so quite a hike)

Hoping to make it, but it'll probably be a game day (or close to it) decision. Gah, been missing too many shares!

 

What town is the host in? What time / how long do you guys typically go? Getting back from FL the day before so gonna be a GTD.

 

Just sent you my address. We will probably start about 1 and go to 6 or so.

 

@beast464 if I can convince my buddy I'm carpooling with to WV to go, ok if I bring him along on Sunday? Can of course make sure he brings something or I'll bring beer in his name

Alright I'll check with him. My attendance pretty much hinges on whether or not he wants to go, since I doubt I'll want to ride all the way back up to Bel Air then drive back down that way.

 

He just got back to me, 99% sure he's not gonna be down, which I figured. Gonna be a late night for us Saturday and he wants to get home at a decent time. Chances are I won't be there, but I'll see what I can do.

I'm going to slainte downtown to watch soccer from 7am until after the 12:30 game, but I could bring some beers and leave them in the car, they wouldn't be cold upon arrival though.

Still 50/50 because I might be driving my friends' wife home (all 3 of us are going but he might be going to horseshoe afterwards -- if that happens, I'm probably out since I won't want to drive back down that way haha)

@sdterp wegmans only option I know of usually. I'll be hitting wegmans then random stores to see if they get any, then going to the barrel aged impending descent release at troegs

 

What time does that start at Troegs and does it sell out? might be able to get over there.

 

AFAIK they open at 11 just like any normal day, and they said on facebook that they made plenty and don't anticipate selling out on release day unless something crazy happens. No limits apparently, but haven't announced pricing. I plan on picking up a case (375ml bottles) unless it's ludicrously priced like '15 BBA flying mouflan or wild elf (~290 a case for those two, other releases since then have been ~100 a case)
