If they were aging in the cinnamon and vanilla easily could not have been ready then.

How is Hopsmack tasting? One of my favorites the last time it was released. If anyone in the Ames/DSM/Ankeny area made the drive I'd give you some King Sue for some.

Thresher, Sol Hunter and Pompeii are about the only TG bombers you'll find in DSM. King Sue and Hopsmack didn't get any Iowa distro.

Hope we hear something on assassin soon. Clark said announcement would come in October.

At the end of 2014, he also said it would be released at the new brewery at the end of 2015, so there ya go

I was going to comment something similar. Clark says/does a lot of things to rile people up and get them excited. I'd hope for Assassin before year's end, but it wouldn't surprise me if it comes next year.

Clark has said multiple times he does not (and does not have to) hype his beer. The 20+ tweets/posts about Assassin/KBBS going back for the last 6 months have all shared a ton of info. I can't wait for the next tweet that says Assassin will be ready "soon".

They do silent releases of some pretty awesome stuff all the time. That should definitely help the locals who frequent there a lot. That was the vibe I was getting from the two local, older guys who have been going since TG started up.

As far as FL goes, I'm sure he's well aware of the issues and quality concerns. They recently went down there. I'm not sure how long it'll take for them to get up to par, but I'm sure they're working on it.

TG has a charity auction going on for VIP access to the next 3 releases. The signup sheet for the auction says the next three are Assassin, KBBS and a Saison. This is the first I've heard of the saison!

Yikes, can't imagine what that'll go for... I'm guessing $2,500?

Kudos to TG for using their powers for good. Like redistributing secondary market money to charity. Fantastic.

I see "spectrum fundraiser" and "good cause" from the TG people. Can't say I'm familiar with spectrum but it sounded like something in the ballpark of a charity.
