    I think each Binny's location should award the first person in line for Black Friday release. Don't publicize it, even if it is 2 x bcbs at least it is something for the peeps that get out there way before opening. Just my humble opinion, of course

    Well after the Abraxas line, I was planning to just get back in line for BCBS.

    I'm already posting for a job at the daycare across the street...first in line for everything! Once the trucks arrive, I can smell which beer it is from the daycare and...boom! All the whales are mine!

    I am just saying keep it low-key, don't announce anything, just hand it out to the first in line without any bcbs pomp, glitter.....:rolling_eyes::rolling_eyes:

    I do like the idea of giving small rewards (e.g. snifters, shirts, etc.) to random ticket numbers for anyone that is there by opening time. It seems like a fun little thing, and doesn't encourage being there a day early.

    Now that GI runs the thing, something like tickets 312, 773, or 606 (partially supported by Green Line sales) would be cool.

    Days early lines are better press, though. Random rewards are better to get a steady stream or encourage people to stay late. Rewards for first whatever are incentive to get in early... which makes for better human interest stories.

    Oh, I'm not there - I can't make it tonight. My wife would kill me if I went up there to wait in line and left her with the toddler and one week old. :flushed:

    They do reward the first few people in line. I can't recall what they got last year but I want to so say it was a vintage bottle (2010 vanilla maybe?) I forget. It's in the 2015 thread.


    Please don't line share. Cops do roll through various times of the night.
