Other Half Brewing November 2016

I might be wrong, but based on the picture that Tired Hands posted recently on Instagram about doing a collaboration with Half Acre and seeing the guy that just walked out of the Other Half brew house that looks similar to the guy in those pics then we should be seeing a OH/HA collaboration soon.

 

HA brewed at OH last Friday.

 

Is it just two cans next weekend? Space diamonds and mosaic dream?

 

Anyone know if they still have IPA or Hop Showers cans left? Preferably Hop Showers.....I may stop by tonight for the hell of it.

 

They had both when I was there last night just after they opened.

 

How do you get beer listings merged on here? Like Whoa is listed 3x

 

People need to be more careful when adding news beers, they should check to see if it is there already. Also, should be careful about getting details of beer correct.

You can report an entry from beer page and ask for change by mods.

 

I opened 2 cans of Like Whoa tonight and both have fallen off a lot since just up to 3 days ago. Now it's developed that maltiness that I dislike so much. I'm completely bummed now because this was such a fantastic beer. Anyone else experiencing this?

 

No problems with my cans yet. Cracked one open two days ago, and while they've definitely lost their "green" characteristic, I wouldn't call the beer malty by any stretch of the imagination.

I hope I don't have a similar experience. I still have two 4-packs to drink.

 

That's unfortunate. I was saving some cans for this weekend, I'll see how they turned out.

 

If it's dmd and space diamonds next weekend think it will be a walk up noon type deal due to the like whoa, ddh ace releases and people being stocked, or tough due to people loading up for the holiday?

 

Also nothing wrong with my cans. I had one on Wednesday and it was delicious. Nothing malty about it. Still a citrusy and a little dank. Tasting great.

On another note, I had DDH ACE last night for the first time. Wow. That might be the best beer OH has released this year. Sad to only have 2 cans, but thankful I got to try it.

 

I opened my first can a couple days ago after a friend suggested I sit on them a bit longer due to them being too raw initially and I still felt the can I tried was too green, didn't get much more than earth and grass. I hope some more malt character shows through soon.

 

I usually base it on "has this beer been canned before?" Space Diamonds b1 was crazy, b2 lasted a while. Personally I think it'll be a slow release, maybe I'm just telling myself that though?

 

Here we go again.

 

Hopefully they're doing another triple batch with a single release just like they did with Like Whoa.
