I am missing something with this Michigan membership? $129 for originally (four bottles) and now five bottles seems way off. Does anyone know if these beers are any good? All of the beers seem very underwhelming for $26/bottle.

Membership cost $125 ($129 with fees) was 4 barrel aged beers, a branded glass, and 10% off in the tasting room. Many of us don't take full advantage of the tasting room discount living far away. That does in fact put a hefty price tag on these beers, specifically the ones that aren't even 750 mL format. I'm hoping these are very good. I enjoyed DB Obelus on draft, but it's been on draft many times. Pretty tough to call that a members only bottle. Regardless of this round of beers, I think many will renew to have a chance to try the coolship beers down the road.

^I feel like the 10% discount would have pretty much paid for my membership had I been able to join (apparently I am on the wait list).

Juice is Loose and Flightless cans out tomorrow (Veteran's Day Friday). Haven't made a trip out there yet and this might be the excuse I was looking for.

A little new to Transient. Had Juice is Loose and loved it at 350 Fest. Now that they're in Michigan are there any plans for Juice is Loose can distro in Chicago?

Really hoping Chris puts a limit on these, especially JiL, so they last at least through the weekend. With that beer's hype from its initial release I can just see the caravan of neckbeards with their dollies and hand trucks headed east on I-94.

Brewed in MI, sold in MI, or at least that has been the MO to date.

Every release has made it through Sunday so far, there were still lots of cans of Crunchy Groove for sale last Sunday from the week prior.

I think Chris said 147 cases were sold last time in August of Juice is Loose.

Damn you're right, it's today. I was faked out by it going to the top of my facebook feed when it was posted 17 hours ago

I sincerely thought (and was hoping) the Friday release post was a diversion.

Anyone else not understand the $125 membership fee this time around?

Is there going to be a party?

These beers are for sale in the tap room and cost half of what members paid.

I'm headed up today. If it turns out that there aren't any cans I will just have to grab a couple bottles and head back up tomorrow.

Steady flow of 4-5 customers buying cans. But plenty of all 3 can types left for tomorrow. After that? No idea but remember it's a holiday weekend so maybe not

There now and really enjoying the Flightless can

Was very excited to see what they brewed Flightless with. Love Nelson hops and DDH anything. Glad to hear it's awesome!

Pardon the hyperbole, but at 5.5% as a pale ale, it's every bit as good as Trillium's Fort Point Pale Ale in my opinion

Really glad to hear that! Just brought mine home after eating across the street. I have one of each chilling for some Thursday night football a bit later.
