Care to elaborate? And are the issues likely to affect the variants?

The convo was brief but GBS had issues, the barrel aged stuff did not. Take that with a grain of salt though.

My own opinion is that they produce so much GBS that it probably won't matter to the end consumer.

White Oak Jai Alai has landed at Crafted Gainesville. Their post stated 10/28 canning date and showed 6 cases.

From the reviews and posts I saw over the weekend a lot of people mentioned this year's GBS is the best it has been in a few years now but I did see a someone state HW had to dump some too.

New batch of Stone Xocoveza at TW Fairfax today. I think the bottle date was 10/21.

We just got a 12-pack of SingleCut's Heavy Boots of Lead Barrel-Aged at Little Miss Whiskey's Golden Dollar. Amazing stuff but prohibitively expensive, we'll have to charge around $18-$20 for a single 16.9 oz. bottle.

Picked up a bottle of the Heavy Boots of Lead at Craft Beer Cellar last night too. Presumably it's also gotten to some other stores around town.

Wish that was true with the barrel aged GBS. That stuff is liquid gold. Most convenient TW for me is always one per customer

CW announced on twitter they'll be selling some 2015 regal rye and rare on Black Friday. At the moment I believe they'll be suggested retail price.

Dominion got in a bunch of three day old Three Notch'd Minute Man cans, and they are exceptional. It's definitely the best batch I've ever had.

That seems more reasonable, its only 80 bucks per case at the brewery, and 8ish for singles

im more amazed this hasnt hit long island yet, but its made it all the way down to DC

What's the deal with that beer, are they trying to do the NE style? Fruit added?

Their regular IPA is bad, like homebrew bad. So I have to be cautious.

I haven't had this batch, but had it a month ago and it was a solid beer. It's not a stellar beer, but a solid 3.75 or 4.0 beer. Definitely worth trying.

No fruit added. It's not your typical hazy NE style IPA, but the bitterness does take a back seat and it's pretty juicy. I guess that's their interpretation of what a NE style IPA is. This recent batch is really dank, which I never got from all the other batches. I'm not a fan of their regular IPA (40 mile) either, but I always pick up a 6'er of Minute Man when it comes to Dominion. It has Galaxy, Mosaic and Idaho 7 hops in it.
