2016 Resolute Day - 11/12/2016

    Update posted on the Bros page. Make note of how Guest Taps will be handled. Last year a few had specific tapping times but nothing that rare this year.

    Today- We open at 2 pm with a full tap list and a Randal! We will also be handing out wristbands. We will close at our normal time of 11 pm.

    Saturday- We open at 10 am with 12 taps flowing inside. We will also resume handing out wristbands. At 11:00, the outside jockey box and the guest taps will start. Keep your eyes open all day as taps both inside and out will change without notice. We will NOT be releasing times that beers will be tapped.

    Sunday- We will open at noon, and we are closing early (5:00) to finally enjoy some Resolute ourselves. Come check out what is left from Saturday and enjoy some football!

    I would not expect them to be posted until tomorrow morning or unless they give in early possibly later tonight.

    Yep. Pretty sure that is correct. They mentioned last year the limits and variants would not be announced until Saturday but ended up making the post/announcement on Friday evening I believe.

    EDIT: Went back and looked at social media posting for Bros last year. The variants were announced Friday at Noon on Instagram and the limits were announced Saturday on Twitter. After reading those I do recall they were doing the whole social media game trying to get followers across the various platforms.

    Excited for the variants but was really hoping for a coconut variant especially after they nailed it last year.

    Agreed. It was too good to not make it again. Next year it sounds like they'll be doing a CocoVanilla as a HS exclusive.

    These both sound quite good though...

    Resolute aged in bourbon and rye barrels. So, basically just regular Resolute.

    I've lost the email but I'm guessing the Double Barrel Resolute is blended and not aged for additional year in rye whiskey barrels?

    Good news is if you are in town they will have coconut Resolute just as a draft only variant.

    Anyone wondering about wristband counts so far someone posted on a local group they were #358 last night at 6:30. Brewery handed them out until 11pm so not sure the final count but anyone going today hoping to score variants will probably want to show up early. Safe to say the limit will be 1 bottle pp of each.

    Definitely a lot more people have already showed up the first 4 hours yesterday then they did both Fri and up until around 2pm on Resolute Day 2015

    How long does the base Resolute normally stick around for? My stepdad might be able to swing by around 3 but I don't want to make him stand in line or drive over to leave empty handed.

    I don't think its ever sold out on release day. In the past its hung around for weeks-months.

    They did have much lower production on if this year though and there are many more people here than 2015 as well. Tough to tell how long it stays
