Ricky Rose, a barrel fermented sour ale done with (at) 3 stars brewing in DC quietly hit shelves at some point.

They had bottles of it at @ThreesBrewing beer shop as of last week. BGH also had it on tap about 2 weeks ago for their 3 Stars event.

I agree with everything minus the second note. $300 1/6 is the going price for bars as well

Knowing tons of people that buy from other half I can assure you that 300$ is not uncommon from them.

Good beer and many other places pay that price. Not sure if people in Brooklyn get special deals or whatever but those are the prices in the email blast buyers get

Anyone got any cold hard facts about keg pricing for bars? Otherwise let's drop it. Who cares

I posted this a couple months ago. Their prices to personal buyers are much higher than to bars because they know they'll be selling more often to bars and they're figuring in the usual bar margin (because those kegs aren't meant for re-sale).

Here's the most recent bar prices:

IPA- 7% ABV, 70 IBUs. West Coast style IPA with a medium malt body and lots of Chinook, Summit, Cascade, Centennial, and Simcoe hops. $190 1/2, $85 1/6. THE FEEL GOOD BEER OF THE MID-FALL! ALWAYS FRESH!

Forever Ever- 4.8%, 50 IBUs. Session IPA hopped with Azacca, Jarrylo, and Citra, Mosaic, and Apollo. Light, bright, and straight crushable. Forever never seems that long until you're grown. $170 1/2. BRUTALLY FRESH AND CRUSHINGLY CLEAN CLEAN!

Flowerzzz- 6%. Foudre fermented farmhouse ale w / elderflowers and NY state honey. $240 1/2. BZZZ BZZZ HONEYTOWN CALLING, DO YOU ACCEPT THE CHARGES? ALMOST SOLD OUT!!

Doug- 6%. Cascadian dark ale w / Columbus, Simcoe, and Summit hops. Dark and roasty black IPA with a beautiful bitterness and a note of fruity Simcoe. $200 1/2.

Coming from a buyer, $300 is the high-end price for their 1/2bbls.

The second can for our Saturday 11/19 release is Responsible Adult (4.8%) a session IPA brewed with our good friend Søren from @dryandbitterbrewing in Copenhagen. Responsible Adult is massively hopped with Galaxy, Mosaic and Hallertau Blanc. $15 per 4 pack, 1 case per person. Release starts at 10am.

I'm thinking this will probably be a quiet release.

DMD is confirmed as the last release, so 2 collabs and a (very good) regular in the rotation.

Yo guys, I know you probably get asked this a ton but I'm making my first trip from Philly this weekend, Any idea of best time to get there to get full allotment? DMD is amazing so that's what I mainly want. Thanks!

I really want this Session IPA to be good. I still haven't been totally blown away by any of OH's sessions. That hop bill is pretty enticing though. Hopefully when they say massively hopped, they really mean it.

Best time to arrive to get a full allotment Is probably 10:30 am. line will be mostly gone and should be plenty of beer left for full cases of everything.

Microgreen was pretty solid. Baby Diamonds too. I agree that nothing has beaten a Boat, Eureka, etc.

I will happily take baby diamonds or small green over boat every day of the week. Boat is bitter and soapy but to each their own.

On the subject of lighter beers, Surprise Me! (4.8%) is drinking beautifully right now.

My issue with session IPAs are they are too OVER hopped for the small grain bill. Most of them taste like and have the consistency of hop water. More hops don't always make a beer better. A session IPA should be the perfect balance between the mouth feel, flavor and ABV.
