    anyone been to the tasting room this week and know if any BA or speedway variant bottles are avail for purchase?

    They had BA speedway stout on Saturday, I am sure they still have some. Variants, they only had the Mokesida or however you spell it. Id call ahead.

    They had a list in anvil and stave of additional bottles for sale. I recall BASS and Mexican Speedway being up there still.

    Yup, along with some BA Olde and BA Old Numbskull. They don't list the non-BA stuff in there. Last time I actually thought about looking (albeit this was weeks ago) regular viet speedway bottles were still on sale in the shop.

    I may be alone thinking this, but ale Smith didn't need to make root beer float speedway. I wish I had more hands, so I could give that variant 4 thumbs down.

    It had such a great aroma. Think maybe more sarsaparilla could have helped the flavor get more to the aroma. But if you didn't like that one, just wait until Liquid Smoke goes on draft....and then stays there....for a very very very long time. =P

    They can't all be winners but it is fun to find out which ones won from each lap.

    Sadly there will be no NYE event at the brewery but for the last 2 days of the year they will once again be doing a tap-recap of goodies that were released all this year.

    It is in their newsletter, but in case you do not get it and happen to be in San Diego...
