Truck Smashes Into Comrade Brewing

As someone opening a brewery and having a gazillion hurdles and hoops to jump through (and still doing so) before even opening, this absolutely terrifies me. You think there can't possibly be any other roadblocks because you've seen them all. Jesus. I hope insurance plays nice. Good luck.

I really don't have any other info about the driver. I saw on the police report that he was cited for careless driving, DUI, DUID and DWAI. The EMT found a bottle of mixed pills (pain killers, sedatives and unknown other pills) with a prescription label from a veterinary clinic. I doubt he knew what was happening.

 

Clearly he hadn't been drinking enough Comrade beer, otherwise he'd have known to be more careful with the final placement of his truck.

Sometimes if an establishment won't take the hint that they need a drive through window, you have to take matters into your own hands...

 

Would it be legal for a brewery to have a drive-through growler fill station?

 

Seems like it should be since we have drive-thru liquor stores. Having said that, we do have some wonky liquor laws here, so who knows.
