Love this beer! I assume cans will be gone today, but going to hit the brewery tomorrow for a growler fill.

More likely to be Greenwich hedge fund bros on their private yachts. Thankfully, it's a 45+ minute drive from the Port Jefferson ferry to Northport.

They still have some left as of 3:44pm. I would suggest to knock on wood, and hope everyone breaks their wallet at OH tomorrow

Maybe they'll break out some Even Mo, if @cosmicevan comment is any indication...perhaps next week?

Damn. Optimism didn’t work in my favor this time. I guess we should be thankful it lasted as long as it did + still on for fills; not sure if this will be the case come TWO (2nd anniversary)

I agree. I had it on tap a few months ago and thought it was nothing special, especially after all the hype I had heard about Day Drifter. However, this batch is ridiculous. Really kicking myself in the ass for only buying one 4-pack.

I have so much good beer in my fridge right now that I almost didn't go at all yesterday. I love how this is actually a problem in NY now.

So does anyone know what hops are used in day drifter? Definitely centennial, one of my favorite hops. Literally tastes like fruity pebbles. Either simcoe or amarillo as well. Maybe columbus for bittering? Would love to attempt a clone at this.

I had a keg of Day Drifter back in the spring and while good, wasn't blowing my socks off. Curious to try it again to see how it has changed.

Maybe my palate has changed but I found this new batch so much better than the first batch I had months back. Like I said, the Centennial is really prominent.

Picked up some cans today. Really solid IPA, super smooth. To me this batch has more smell and a bit more flavorful than what I have had in past.

Do you get the fruity pebble flavor on the back end from the Centennial?

Don't think I ever had fruity pebbles ! But I do get a favorable finish, maybe the oatmeal part? Very nice looking beer too.

Next time I have one will try to figure out the finish.

I would have never described this as fruity pebbles yesterday but I totally get it while drinking one now. Can't say if that's cent or not cause I def don't taste that in something like two hearted or centenniale but it's definitely in this

Yep very few beers have that quality from centennial but once you taste it, its unmistakable.

Damn, Day Drifter is a great beer. Can't believe it's only 5.5%. Thanks Anthony from the line at OH! (Not sure if you're on BA haha)

Taste between these two is much different, with the lighter being much better. Not that the darker one is terrible. Just wish the lighter one was mine not my wife

Just wanted to chime in and say that I had a can of the latest batch of Second Wave on Saturday night. It was probably my favorite beer of the night, and that's saying something considering it was up against beers like Tesseract, Hill Farmstead Edward, Mosaic+Waimea, etc.

Not to trash Grimm (because I really do love their beers), but I drank Tesseract back-to-back with Second Wave and it didn't hold a candle. Sand City has something special going on.
