Leaving from Charleston on a cruise soon. Is Cigar City available here?

Nope, but CBX has plenty of good local stuff. Check out COAST and Westbrook if you aren't familiar with them.

Echo the above. CCB cut back distro a while back due to construction of their brewery. Not sure if it was ever in Charleston, but its certainly not here now. But as monde said, plenty of great stuff here. I'm currently addicted to Boy King. I also have an obsession with Westbrook IPA and Imperial Biscotti which is back on the shelves. I think I could be satisfied for months on those 3 beers alone.

It never made it to SC or NC, the distributor they had signed with went out of business before any beer was shipped. By the time they had lost the rights (franchise laws in both states) CCB had already decided not to expand to any new markets.

Gotcha. Thanks guys. I just saw CCB listed on the Seek A Brew for SC and had hoped so. Oh well.

cbx has a great website if you want to browse now. It's up to date and the guys there are willing to set some stuff aside. It was very helpful for me when traveling to charleston back in late march.

They may list it on there because of some collaborations with other breweries that SC normally get in its distribution. I think a they did one with Mikeller possibly? This may be way off but could be an explanation.

Side note, I along with most folks in SC would love to have CCB here.

    Cheers.

While it never made it to the shelves, they were at Brewvival.

They were, along with Funky Buddah. Those CBX and COAST people have some pull

One of the best festivals every year on the east coast, IMO. Highly recommend it to anyone if you haven't been!
