It's outstanding I agree, I do think Ctayt has the edge. Both are very pricey bottles.

I don't think it's even close... Ctayt blows it away

If you can get a non-infected BA Yeti it's good stuff. Yet it's also a massive crapshoot. After thinking it was overblown, something like 7 out of the last 10 I've had were bad.
Ctayt might be the single best BA beer in CO (to me), but it also ages with the quickness. Unless you keep those bad boys in extra cold/dark storage, they start kicking out heavy oxidative notes in about a year. For my tastes, that's a no go. For others that might be a huge selling point.

Personally I think I'd rather have normal Yeti and Czar over either of 'em, though. #MakeNonBAStoutsGreatAgain

As of last year (I think) they've pasteurized BA Yeti.

Interesting - I might actually buy one of those bottles now. After getting burned repeatedly I swore 'em off.

Yeah, ba yeti is pasteurized now. And I can't believe we are comparing ctayt to ba yeti. Last bottle I had of ctayt was thin bodied and forgettable.

Word was that they'd have enough to last 'til the weekend. But I have an inherent distrust of breweries estimating how long their beer will last :grinning:

Haven't they "run out" several times already? On Friday, they "ran out" then "found some more"

I always just hope that the brewers aren't as forgetful or as prone to misplacing things as the marketing guys are...

When I asked Epic about their stock they said they just got another shipment. Maybe it is coming from Salt Lake? Not sure if they do the barrel program Denver or SL but that could be why they are finding more. Also no limit in SL so my guess is the market is not as strong over there. Since we bought it all up Friday they sent more over. Just a guess.

Double Barrel Baptist is at Mr. B's right now if they don't have any at the brewery

I got a hold of Epic and they said they have plenty of both DB and Baptista. They replenished their stock on Monday. Said its $15.99/bottle of each. Mr. B's is 1 bottle limit on DB... On another note, is Ctayt popping up in Denver yet?

Wow, a republican that doesn't lump china and russia into one red machine. :stuck_out_tongue:
Seriously, what am I missing? Did ac golden srelease subsequent batches that are better than the first?

Lol it's an old handle. These days it's more Strong fiscal conservative but socially liberal independent, that's a bit wordy though. As for Ctayt though, that beer has always been awesome and clearly still very overlooked and underrated.

It falls into the same category as oil man for me. Just didn't ring my bell I guess. At least we can agree about tv shows based on your avatar. Cheers.
