CbP still had a food cart near 28th & Ankeny as of August 2014. I know that's not recent, but their beer didn't give me much reason to return...

That's the only one I can ever remember too. I can at least claim to have tried at least one more. Some kind of red/amber ale which should have been called Red Diacetyl Ale. Urp.

I had Chernobyl IPA. Probably should've gone for the stout.

I think so, yeah. And you pay a little more for the bottle because you can return it to them or something.

I was going to say Amnesia Brewing but they are gone already...or are they...hmm I can't remember.

CbP is still around. The owners got a divorce a while back, he got the brewery, and she got the beer carts. AFAIK, there's still a cart on Sauvie Island and one in the cart pod in St Johns, both of which pour CbP beer.

I still see bottles here and there, but given that they don't date them there's no telling how old they are.

I can never forget Captured by Porches - they used to serve beers at house parties years ago when they first started up which I thought was pretty rad at the time.

You could say this about pretty much any brewery north of the river. (Or are those not Portland breweries...?) Most Portlanders couldn't even name a Vancouver/Camas/Washougal brewery. (Don't get me wrong though, most are just passable local options that should never go in to distribution.)

I've had some pretty solid stuff from Heathen. Mega Dank, especially.

Base Camp and Portland Brewing yes. Bridgeport? They try hard to stay relevant and have put out some pretty good stuff. Definitely not on my A-list but not worst either.

Vacationing in Vermont for a few days before visiting family for the holiday. Basecamp is now distro'd here and people are definitely ordering it. I passed and continued filling my glass with HF, Lawsons, Alchemist, and others.

While it's in Washougal Wa, Amnesia Brewing is not good. Their food is even worse.
    Portland Brewing....

A cabinet shop I worked for did a bunch of work for Portland Brewing. They gave us a few cases of beer. I didn't find one of them good.
