Get a smoking jacket, a huge comfy leather chair, perhaps a monocle, and sit by an open fire to be truly classy as fuck.....at least that is my plan although I lack the jacket, the leather chair, and my house doesn't have a fireplace.

With a 21oz glass, you were just gonna leave those last couple of ounces of an entire bottle out?

    Thats cold blooded...

Brethren in beer, we have been training for this moment our entire beer career. A brewery has finally blessed us with the gift of dumping an entire 750ml bottle into 1 proper vessel.

Now is not the time to be disappointed, hell this should be a friggen celebration.

I don't know... Maybe for some of their other beers, but not their big beers.

Plus there is no way to maintain the ideal drinking temperature if you dump 25.9 oz of BT into a fishbowl and then enjoy it over say 2 hours it would be quite warm in the end. Unless you sit outside on a chilly day. Not many people maintain their dwelling at 55*C.

I think the glass for me would be more of a show piece. A cool show piece but not something I would use very often. :slight_frown:

I use a 22oz size glass all the time at home. You don't have to pour the whole bottle if you don't want to, just saying.

I think both Melange 9 and Befuddlement were way too good to never be brewed and bottled again - would love to see them both reappear someday. Also Blue BBLs needs to be an annual release - every time I drink a bottle I log back in and order 2 more (or at least I have been...just noticed it's no longer in the store.)

And count me in as excited for the giant glass.

This is true, not many people live in 131F temps. Not willingly, anyway.

If you're an oil rich Sheik in Saudi you may put up with it but I agree with you not many other people would:wink:

Someone can finish a bottle of BT in two hours!?!? All hail that person's liver!

Oh, and 55˚C = Approximately 131˚F... So Sayeth the Meteorologist. 55˚F though... perfect on a chilly Southern California night out on the porch with a sweater on! Gotta love fall!

Same this is my go to glass as of late. Perfect for 12 oz or 375 ml bottles. Gives proper amount of room for the bouquet at the first sip. The bowl of the glass is not massive and if I didn't try to fill it with a full bottle I would have thought it would still pour over. Will be happy to have a few more.

That actually isn't that difficult to do. The following morning sucked though.

I am one of the thinnest beer nerds I know, along with being incredibly active (outside of work hours of course) so really I don't care much about calorie intake. Not until I start to grow more horizontally anyways.

I think we've discussed this before - I consider running 3 days a week the justification for my calorie-intense alcohol and/or gut-bomb food intake.

That said, the glass is a hilarious idea, but has very little practicality in my day-to-day drinking.

Woah, I just heard that The Bruery is retiring Humulus Lager! That is, by far, my favorite "non-IPA" IPA!!! It's also near the top of my list of favorite Bruery beers! Talk about heartbreak!

Time to drink... all... the... Humulus!!!!

For sure. I drank a '16 BT to the dome and it was a fun experience but it made me really groggy the next morning.
