Very true. For me, the most impressive beer I've had lately that could possibly be classified as a session was the Tired Hands / Hill Farmstead collab. I know 5.8% isn't TOTALLY a sessionable ABV, but god damn did that beer hit all the marks.

I find that they just need considerably longer to come together than they're usually given. I think forever ever at 2 months out or so is delicious.

the first batch of small green everything was incredible, but yeah that brings another issue where does it really matter if batch x was good if they can't do it consistently? when boat is pretty consistent from batch to batch...

Yup I was really looking forward to new SD. Will have to drown my sorrows in DMD and the new beers.

Had another can of Like Whoa last night and, again, it has fallen off completely. Tastes just like other Trilliums after they have fallen off completely. I have 1 can left and I'm expecting the worst (drain pour). Maybe I got a bad batch, but I'm shocked that it would fall off this much, this quickly. I know not everyone is experiencing this, so sucks for me, I guess.

Yeah, I still have 10-12 left and no complaints at all. It's not as green as the day it arrived but still delicious.

I think jchyon just has a better, more sensitive and more sophisticated palate than the rest of you guys.

The DDH ACE I drank last night was really nice. That fresh green aspect dropped off and it is pure citra juice... but still has that dank OH finish that I like in IPAs. Great beer.

DDH DMD is still ahead of DDH ACE in my OH rankings.

I would like to see OH do a DDH galaxy beer with the same base malt.

I read an article on my Facebook feed that Harvard/Oxford universities did a joint study and found that 1 in 83 beer geeks have such a sensitivity to hop fade that - 5 day old IPA will taste "bad"; 10 day old will cause moderate nausea; 15+ can induce fever/vomiting and potentially require hospitalization.

Nah, I think I just ended up with a crappy 4-pack. The rest of my case tasted phenomenal.

That's what im waiting for! Though it seems like all their DDH beers are using the lupulin powders so im not sure we will see it. But, i did notice one of the beers this weekend is using simcoe lupulin powder so maybe we will see DDH Forever Simcoe

^^^ What I heard is lupulin powder available only for most ****ty hops ( Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe).

Had a Like Whoa last night and thought it was still a great beer--just not as juicy, which is fine. Have 4 left and will enjoy each one.

Gonna cruise by and stock up on DMD tomorrow. Just wish it was DDH.
