GI Fulton Taproom has prop on if anyone wants to try it after work today.

you mean the prop 15? if so, yeah, you wanna be cautious about that since nobody really is gonna put Prop '16 on tap before Prop Day.

I only walked by on my way to Binny's. Line was pretty mellow (20, 30 people) at like 5:30.

 

So I guess people are getting the tents ready? I live close to LP, so that's my go to place every year. Will get there pretty early, get my space set up. I'll be there with assorted Beef Jerky, and Sours, if anyone wants to swing by. I assume shit show every time, usually right.

A week from now, roughly. Haha. I assumed people were switching over from Half Acre to BCBS mode. Weather says rain?!

 

Ohhhh. I read that as there are already people in line waiting. hahaha

 

I think I'm gonna get in line Monday just to do an interview with a beer blog and piss off the guy that normally is first. (I think it's. Even the same dude the last 3 or 4 years), and then leave.

 

It is the same guy. He's from Michigan and I met him a couple years back when I was roughly 10th in line with a friend. I fully support your goal to piss him off. I have nothing against the guy personally but I'm all about spite, especially in situations like this.

 

I wish the city the ban tents though.

I'm as of now leaning to only get coffee and regular BCS, and don't give a crap about vintages or this year's Prop(from the poor reviews I've seen of it). What would be a recommended time to hit a non-Lincoln Park Binny's, to be sure I wouldn't be shut out of getting coffee? And am I correct in thinking I'd be safe, if I hit a suburban one before 5am?

Worse case scenario, I'll try one of the Whole Foods store releases the week after.

 

Surprised that Binnys blog isn't updated with vintages yet. Last year that stuff was announced pretty quickly

 

Yeah, I'm surprised about that. I'm still debating if it's even worth going to Lincoln Park. Since my huge gut fear is that you'd probably have to get into the line on Thanksgiving night, to even get a vintage(which I'll admit is the only minor reason I might consider LP). And if that's the case where it'd involve camping the whole night, I won't bother going there. Since I don't have either a tent, or my own car.
