good morning. TGIF (to the 10th power)!

the rest of this went back in the fridge, hopefully i'll be up to the task of killing the rest of it later today.

 

My only problem with Thursday nights is Friday morning. Oh well, here's to the weekend!

Good morning and happy Friday BA's! We made it through another week (well, almost for me), and Thanksgiving draws nearer meaning we have some awesome events coming up here people! I'll let the other official hosts pander theirs, but here's the reminder from the Staff: SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! "Holiday Glass of the Week Awards", will be held on each Saturday morning following Thanksgiving next week, and up to the New Year! You know what to do ! Pandering complete, it's time for the chalice themed Glass of the Day Awards!

GotD: For a beautiful Trois Pistoles chalice (which happens to be one of my favorite beers), let's all give @Biggtriksta a double Cheers and congrats on your first GotD my friend !
2nd: @GoGators , You must have some great friends or family from my neck of the woods sporting that awesome Societe chalice. Served up proper on a tray, and love them tap handles too!

I've seen cases of Xocoveza stacked up at multiple bottle shops and stores for several weeks now. The local grocer dropped the price, so I picked up a six this morning:



I was not wowed a few weeks ago when I tried this year's batch, at least not like the past 2 years. After 6 weeks the cinnamon has backed off a little and I'm getting more cocoa and coffee. I bet this beer will continue to age well into the Xmas season. Cheers!

Dropped the mutts off at the groomer, ran 7 miles on the Prairie Duneland Trail where I was almost attacked by a big mangy dog. Time for a beer as I have twenty minutes to kill before I pick them up. Two buck plastic cups of Sam Adams Octoberfest at Flannery's in Chesterton. A charming dive bar except for the smell of cigarettes. The things I do for a beer!
