On Instagram they claim they need that 30 minutes to set up for can sales, I really would rather not have to wait 30 minutes while drunk

I mean, it would be way simpler to sell throughout the day, let people pick up as they leave.

It would be awesome if they announced prices and limits ahead of time.

Maybe they aren't announcing limits because they don't know how many people will be in attendance? They still have plenty of tickets to sell at the door. Maybe it's kinda like Cycle releases where they decide limits day of based on number of people in line? Just a guess.

Are they waiting to see how many people are in line to announce the price too? :stuck_out_tongue: :grinning:

I keep hoping they will announce they are changing the way they will do sales but I'm pretty sure that's pointless now.

Yeah I have no idea why they would wait to announce prices.

Ridiculously well organized and well run event. There's some breweries that have been around much longer than 1 year that could learn a lot from CS. Such a great time.

The anniversary glass looked nice, hope for all those who bought cans that they are issue free. Timing didn't work out for me to make it this year but maybe next year.

Up to the point of lining up to get cans at the end. Seemed to move a lot slower than previous can releases. Also the omission of the 7th wonder cans was curious.

The event was run very well and I had a great time. Had the opportunity to try all of the beers I wanted to and rarely had to wait in line.

When it came to the can sales they really dropped the ball. Aside from announcing what cans would be for sale they never communicated the limits or prices. The absence of 7th Wonder should have been announced ahead of time as well, when I asked about it when paying they said it just wasn't right and had to be dumped. Waiting until 4:30 (actually didn't open the doors until 4:40) to sell cans was a poor choice. They really need to reevaluate how can sales are done to speed things up. Hopefully they can learn from this to make future releases run more smoothly.

I gotta say, that was a great time. Amazing smooth, beautiful day, the lay out was perfect, along with great food trucks and crowd.
I didn't stay for cans so I can't really judge that part.

Anyone try the Fresh w coconut?

The MIA -Encanto De Amore was outstanding.

    Looking forward to next year.

Best beer event I may have ever gone to, no lie. Minimal lines, great weather, great people. That MIA Berliner was fire!! My only complaint would be to hold can selling all day and not at the very end. I missed out on cans but the event was just sick. Great to see all y'all S. Fl. Guys!

Thought the event was well organized, lines were minimal (except 3Sons) and a beautiful day. The beer however I would rate as good not great. Jon Wakefield didn't bring Thunderdome which I was looking forward to trying. The Sour IPA (where's the yeast Bro) collaboration with CS was pretty good but I'll pass on the cans. Had another beer from JWB and it wasn't his best. Drank a lot of BA and regular imperial stouts (Early Bird Special, Cycle Third Anniversary, My Only Friend, Imperial Pajamas, Rocky Road, JBM 35). All were pretty good but none I would put in that upper tier that I would trade for if it were bottled.

Enjoyed some Hunahpu and the Black Currant from CCB was an excellent sour. Also, the sour mango (resin on my thumbs) from Odd Breed was top notch. Drank a couple CS IPAs. The coconut fresh was very interesting and Extra Pulp was a real hop bomb.

I thought the best beer of the day goes to 3Sons PB King. The best peanut butter beer I've ever had!

How did the Extra Pulp compare to regular Pulp? Bummed I missed out on that one. Hope they brew it again. Hoping to grab some cans of whatever they have left tomorrow.

I didn't try a bad beer either. I guess my expectations were unrealistic. Wakestock set the bar so high I was expecting more of the same. It was still very good beer!

They had Extra Pulp on draft yesterday and available in Crowlers...no idea if it kicked or not, so you might still get to try it if it doesnt/hasnt run out.
