Julian Shrago just posted a video on his IG feed, they are bottling 12 oz foam top bottles right now.

 

Citraholic and Amalgamator right behind them??? Wishful thinking...

 

I bet they bottle Alpha Galactic in 12oz bottles

 

Anyone think MM will last at any location til tonight? If some is hitting distro that's a good sign, no? Got burnt on System of a Stout by not waiting in line but I'm guessing that was a much smaller production.

 

I would think LB is best bet, as SB always gets a minimal amount, and HB is an unknown.

 

No line yet at beachwood sb in case anyone was worried.

 

Hb is selling 6 packs of foam top

 

For those not waiting in lines for IPAs, how does it look at BWLB? Also how's the traffic from Torrance to LB

 

Since no one answered my question no line at LB. What happened from last year? Really surprised last year about the hype but glad I got my six easily this year.

 

They brewed a shit ton more this year

 

Hop Kong Phooey and Careful releases today!

I remember serendipitously happening upon the last Hop bottling after walking through the dog event in DTLB and enjoying it immensely.

The Pluot propagation series bottling was a favorite, hope the new Careful version is just as good!

What a day, what a glorious day!

 

Still managed to pick up mocha machine this evening around 4pm with no problems. I wasn't so sold on the Careful with that Pluot in the little bit I tasted, though it was quite sour.

 

Does Beachwood have bottles or cans regularly available or is it all special release?

 

Cans haven't been done, bottles are somewhat sporadic, but due to the increase in production with the Huntington Beach location in full swing, you can typically find at least one bottle available at any of the locations.

I would recommend Long Beach first, as they're open 6 days and have lots of storage, Huntington Beach second, except for the fact they don't have invasive species or open only 4 days, they're the other production facility and have growler fills as well. Seal Beach has minimal storage so I would put that last, but then again, it's in between LB and HB, so you might as well hit it up if trying to locate something.

 

Invasive Species is out to today. Shows only LB & SB locations only. Makes sense. HB is closed today & Weds. Just under $12 for the 4 pack.

 

Was there around the same time in LB and it looked to me they weren't running out of bottles anytime soon.

Hop Kong Fooey was damn good by the way.

 

I think they're out of the cask version but the normal one should still be on draft at LB? They didn't bottle it this year (I was mistakenly under the impression that it was a bottle release).

 

Damn...the LB hop cam is showing CitraHolic, Amalgamator, Independent, Invasive 4pk, Sadie and MM bottles available. Does anybody know if the HB location has any of these bottles available? Specifically the 4pk?

 

4 pack was available yesterday at closing. also MM and citraholic.
