I made it to bitter pops. GB sold out in about 2-3 mins. They had what looked like 8 cases of GB and happy days each. I was able to get some. Before selling he mentioned something about a low turnout and allowing case purchases. Seemed a little drastic. Limits are annoying when u want a second of something and there is plenty. In situations like this I def appreciate spreading the love. I offered my 2nd 4 pack to a couple people that missed out and they refused. Not complaining!

I had the last nimbus from the late September batch. Held up pretty well.
Then had a focal banger my friend had sent me. They felt like very similar style. I liked the focal banger better, but it wasn't as far apart as I'd have thought.
Not gonna get a cumulus this go round, just too much other stuff but...

2 nights ago I had a snooze juice from forbidden root. If you get the chance - stop down and try that beer or get a growler (they have 32 oz growlers, which is what I got). It's up there with the othe Chicago NE IPAs. More on the Massachusetts kind - juicy.

They said they would have 10 cases, for it to go in 2-3 minutes is nuts...

That turned me off a bit as well. It's a delicious beer don't get me wrong. We'll see if some age takes a bit of that out. Also very strange that I didn't get the wine aftertaste after every drink. Oh well I'll happily finish them over the long weekend. Cheers!

I found batch 2 a lot more dry than batch 1. A pronounced orange rind flavor took away from the peach & pineapple notes.

Still very good but I preferred the 1st iteration.

I got a little more bitterness this second time around. In an enjoyable way. They were pretty close, but I would also give a small edge to batch 1. Excited to see how it turns out after a few more batches.

Yeah it went super quick. Pretty organized line. I didn't see anyone go overboard. Typically a couple 4 packs. I might have seen someone grab 3. But it flew. I stayed for a couple pours at the bar. Def not as hazy. The 2nd one I had was damn near clear. I wish I'd have take a picture

Folks that are saying GB has wine aspects to its finish make me wonder what kind of wine some of you are drinking!

That's just it! I don't drink wine cause I really don't care for it. But that's the after taste I get from it. But again, not after every sip which is strange. I'll see how it drinks after sitting for a week.

Yep. Your sentiments echo mine. I picked up a 4-pack on Saturday. Had a couple that night. Would definitely buy it again. An east coast Lite offering. Good call.

anyone going to Bitter Pops for Juice Pants? 6pm again I believe. My wallet hates me but I might go if I can leave work in time to get there. Altho there is no way it sells like yesterday I don't think.

I'll probably be there with my siblings for a little while, because I want a pour (and one of those glasses).

I would like to grab a bottle or two, but won't be able to swing by until later around 6:30 or 7, so hopefully you're right that it doesn't sell like yesterday with Galaxy Bowl.

The first certain number of people (maybe 50?) get one of the Juice Pants glasses.

Oh that's nice. I prob wont make it till a little after 6 so will miss that but who knows. Pretty nice bonus. My glassware cabinet is getting out of control these days so it isn't going to break my girlfriends heart haha.

well 50 might last a bit longer than you would expect. id almost doubt there were 50 people there right at 6 yest for GB and I sorta doubt this release is as high demand.

Yeah that was my assumption, but you never know. I'm hoping it'll be relatively relaxed.

If that was 50 people at 6 for JP, I'd be surprised. Think they ran out of glasses at 25, unless they have more somewhere else. Said they have a case per person, not that anyone was buying that much. Solid beer, unique for this region, it won't knock your socks off, but you might juice your pants. +the Brewers are there.
