My only question is "half the ticketed line" gets the opportunity to get Rare. How many would that constitute?

Last year we got to Binny's around 5 and were part of the ticketed line. So how many fall in to that category.

My plan this year is stop by closer to 730/8 or so. No need to wait all night/morning to get basically the same stuff I would have gotten if I was there at 5 a.m. Getting an extra Rare would be nice but it's not really necessary.

A completely wild ass guess here. Last year there were likely 1k tickets. It seems this was the number if I recall. They've mentioned this year's allocations at LP being similar to last year. So half being maybe ~500 bottles (+/- 100) of Rare? And I wouldn't think everyone is going to buy a Rare this time around (I'll make another wild guess that 75% will) so even maybe the 600th+ person has a chance but who knows. It's all a crapshoot.

I would gess that there are between 800-1000 allocations so top 4-500.

IIRC, they said roughly 60,000 Rares were produced last year. I can tell you with 100% certainty that I saw at least 14,000 Rares at the warehouse last weekend. That was after Rare was sold at Prop Day and apparently some had already been shipped to the west coast. So holding back 25% or more does seem like quite a bit. Will we see more on the market than last year? Well seeing that distribution would be at best 25-30% of last year, I doubt it. That said, I'm sure there will be some places that get more than they did last year. That will be the exception, not the rule however.

Does anyone know if Whole Foods plans on doing the same thing as last year? I believe it was the Friday or next Friday after Black Friday

They did it the Friday after Black Friday last year and that apparently is the plan for this year as well.

Will be in town for BF this year. Did any Costco's get regular last year on Black Friday? If so, which one's? TIA.

Costco Naperville did (a pallet) and it was gone early. I stopped by there (around 11ish) after being at Binny's and the guy kind of laughed at me.

Thanks. Just wondering if there is a place to score some regular after Binnys LP?

If you arrive at Binnys LP at 9, how long are you in line before you check out? 1 Hour? 2 Hours? Just curious. Not sure how quick it moves.

I'm going to estimate you'd still have a good 2-3 hour wait. If I recall correctly, last year I got there around 7am and got out around 11-ish. Two years ago I went and 11am and was out in 45 minutes (although to a limited allotment at point).

Decided to open a BCBS 15 while cooking. It was a refund-eligible one but I'm not detecting infection. Keep hope alive for your verticals!

Doesn't InBev brew a lot of GI beer in NY now?
